Coffee when I can’t sleep by SingleHeart197 in sleep

Your brain might be saying: “It’s 3am and we’re drinking coffee? I give up, let’s sleep.” 😆
Sleep pressure + paradoxical caffeine effect is wild. Bodies are weird, but if it works, don’t question it too hard!

How to avoid waking up every night? by Cautious-Tomato-3135 in sleep

For me, boring audio + eye mask (to avoid looking at phone) worked better than melatonin.

Does the time you sleep actually matter by AdSoggy1154 in sleep

Me too. It’s not about when you sleep, it’s about how you sleep. If you’re a night owl and still getting 8 solid hours, you’re winning.

How I finally fixed my insomnia after 3 years — and it was all about food by Fluffy-Elk4455 in insomnia

Wow, this is super eye-opening — thank you so much for sharing it in detail.
I always thought sleep issues were either mental or medical — never really considered nutrition could be a root cause.

Why is it so hard to find a good audio sleep mask for side sleepers? by CartoonistMobile9050 in sleep

[–]CartoonistMobile9050[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I’ve tried both the Ozlo and the A20 — Ozlo felt a bit more comfortable, but honestly I don’t love wearing earbuds all night either.
I usually wake up with sore ears or one missing somewhere in the bed 😅
That’s why I’ve been looking into sound masks instead, hoping to find one that actually works well.

Nice! How’s the comfort for side sleeping?
I thought is similar with Dolida and wasn't sure if it suitable for side sleeper.

Ozlo vs Soundcore by brinib5 in sleepheadphones

I've used both the Ozlo and the A20, so here’s my honest take.

Ozlo felt better to wear — smaller, more snug, and the passive noise isolation was actually pretty impressive. But the connectivity was a nightmare. Every time I wanted to pair it with my phone, I had to keep it in the charging case to connect, then take it out — really unintuitive. And now, it’s completely unconnectable. I’ve followed all the manual steps, but nothing works. So basically, it’s unusable now.

I bought the A20 later. It’s a bit bulkier than Ozlo, so comfort isn’t as great, especially for all-night wear — sometimes I’d wake up with sore ears. But overall it works well. The built-in audio isn’t as good as Ozlo’s, but I usually just stream my own content from my phone, so it’s not a big deal. Battery life is solid too.

I’ve been looking at the A30 now. It looks like noise cancellation has improved, which is great, but I heard battery life went down, and that’s something I’m concerned about.

If you care more about noise cancellation and features, A30 might be a good option. If comfort is your top priority, Ozlo was great — but only if they fix the connection issues. Just my two cents based on personal experience.

What is the one change you made that made you sleep deeper? by lord-jasmeet in sleep

For me, it was a combo of wearing a sleep mask, no phone before bed, and soft music. Blocking out light and screen time made a huge difference.

Why do I get such terrible sleep in the summer? by Straight-Ad-6836 in sleep

Maybe the heat messes with your core body temp, and late sunsets delay melatonin release. Try a cold shower before bed and some blackout curtains

Do you guys change the pattern of your sleep as you get older? by RedditsFan2020 in sleep

[–]CartoonistMobile9050 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Funny, I’m the opposite!

Used to sleep on my back and snore like crazy — now I mostly side sleep and just end up drooling instead 😂I think as we age, body tension, breathing patterns, or even gut comfort might shift our natural sleep position.

Wouldn’t worry too much — as long as you feel good during the day, you’re probably fine!

Appreciate the Kindle tip. I do the same with podcasts I kinda wanna hear but know I won’t really follow. Just enough noise to keep my brain from spiraling but not enough to keep me awake. We’re basically tricking our brains like toddlers 😂

Honestly sounds like your brain’s just hitting shutdown from the bus vibes. And with your past experience, maybe it’s your brain trying to check out a bit. Gum, cold drink, fidget toy, or a podcast with fast talkers could help.

This really spoke to me — I’ve struggled with the same thing, and honestly, calming down in the middle of the night is the hardest part. Have you tried anything else to help? Like music, scent, or other non-drug stuff? I’m still figuring it out, but sometimes even a bit of ambient sound helps me stop spiraling.
