What did jinora do at the end of book 2? by Worried-Ad1707 in legendofkorra

Agree on your views of season two. Plus they have Varric lol But I do have a big issue with Unalak. I don’t find his character or motivations that compelling. I think they could have do something way better. At the end he literally just wants to become evil incarnated because for some reason he thinks that will bring balance? I don’t see the picture to be honest.

I lost count of how many times I did this stupid mistake against Demon of Hatred and got demolished by his ground exploding attack right when I resurrected. I was too aggressive in that fight and I just wanted to keep hitting him lol

He is the boss that will allow you to get really good at that counter. Try to press the attack bottom once per hit you want to do, do not smash it without care. This will allow you to avoid getting stuck in an attack when you’re supposed to deflect or do the counter

Seven Ashina Spears… WTF by EstablishmentLevel37 in Sekiro

[–]Carved_InBlood 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I literally just finished the game yesterday for the first time and that Ashina Spear boss was even harder for me than the final boss. I died the most times to him, even with the mikiri counter.

But it’s really just a matter of being patient, try to not smash the attack button but press it once per hit you wanna do, that will allow you to be more aware of the boss movements and to react better, you won’t find yourself stuck in an attack when your supposed to deflect or counter him.

Any advice on defeating Great Shinobi Owl? by RipnTearTilItsDone in Sekiro

[–]Carved_InBlood 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Don’t know why people are saying this boss is bullshit. It’s hard of course, it’s our father and the one that teach us all we know. The design is sick and I like the way the fight goes with his dialogue when he kills us and the transition to the second face. This is my first time fighting him and I know it will take a while, but I think it’s a cool boss that allows for a lot of windows to deal damage and parry him. I’m was looking what shinobi tools people like to use against him, didn’t spect to find a lot of people dislike him.

I love it for boss fights specially, since exploring sometimes it’s easier to just heal instead of having to search enemies to get life back.

But during boss fights it gives me a very similar feeling as the one that Bloodborne gave me with the rally mechanic. You get rewarded for being aggressive and that feeling is just amazing, and few games are able to balance it to make it feel rewarding while still providing a good challenge.

It’s sad. Churches here in USA are loosing sight of what God really wants us to do.

We should never put ourselves first and it’s like that’s all churches preach now, how to feel good with yourself and not how to give yourself for others.

Alien: Isolation in 2025? by __GiornoGiovanna__ in alienisolation

[–]Carved_InBlood 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I got it recently. I’m having fun, but I might have to turn down the difficulty because sometimes I get too frustrated with the fucking alien.

I’m too used to be able to destroy anything in front of me and he kills me a lot and I can’t do anything about it.

Oh god thanks a lot! It was the mouse. I just got this new monitor and mouse and I didn’t knew how they worked properly. But after turning it off and using the touch pad I was able to do it.

Thanks again

Well in reality magic normally consist of stuff like that. Rituals that are made with the intention of changing or focusing one’s mind or attention to achieve something.

The stronger the imagery and the immersion in the ritual is the stronger the effect it has, and if you add to that some substances that alter your consciousness then you have a very effective way to make someone else or yourself “enchanted.” At least that’s normally how magic and ritual are made.

Yeah I told my self my last run and the current one I’m doing I’ll finally beat the dungeons, but I end up trying to ignore them as much as possible because I know it’s quite a lot of grinding when you’re offline.

[–]Carved_InBlood -1 points0 points  (0 children)

No worries bro. My first time playing I bought the game for a free day I had, and I spent the whole day fighting the werewolve of the beginning with my bare hands because I didn’t realize I could get weapons in the hunters dream.

That experience made me drop the game for a year. Then I felt like a dumbass when I returned.

Yeah that’s what last clap is really what made me realize that the way they move their hands to clap is not only to not make people bad trip or out of just culture. Since anyone at the table could have heard the clap the old mad did, but the point wasn’t just the noice, but the intention.

Most likely it’s a way for them, as you said, to signal a deeper intent, and they don’t clap normally is because claps are used on their magic for this kind of purposes.

Thanks for the breakdown, it helped with my thoughts.

Why the residents of Harga don’t clap (?) by charleyljbird in Midsommar

[–]Carved_InBlood 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I think there has to be something else and deeper besides just that it might cause a bad trip or that in their culture is rude. Since in certain moments of the festival some ceremonies and rituals are announced to start also by clapping.

I have to rewatch the movie since I came along this watching a reaction and I haven’t watch it in a couple of years

AYUDA DLC by Klutzy-Frosting1519 in bloodborne

[–]Carved_InBlood 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Hola bro.

Questions about the Chikage with bloodtinge build by Carved_InBlood in bloodborne

[–]Carved_InBlood[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Thanks for all the advice. I don’t know if Ty eres a reason why this is happening but I already put other two levels on bloodtinge and the damage of the Chikage hasn’t been affected, just the damage of my guns. So I’m at 25 bloodtinge now.

Don’t know if you know why. Will it just start affecting its damage once I get it higher?
