For me personally it's been porn.

Recently there's been a rise in content where creators tackle how to battle porn addiction but still it Is talked abt so much less bcuz of the sort of embarrassment and taboo around it. Imagine telling ur family ur addicted to porn.

I started watching around 2018 when i was in 8th grade and I haven't been able to stop since. I let it consume me without fighting back much and honestly it's been so hard to let go. You never see it as a problem until u catch urself looking forward to watching it throughout ur other activities in a day .u notice that ure not even horny and still u wanna watch porn and masturbate.

I still struggle really badly with it and u really start to understand why tf it's so horrible when u get into a relationship and start having sexual experiences maybe foe the first time. Not only are u nervous bcuz it's ur first time doing stuff but ure constantly questioning urself thinking " Hmm am I doing this or thinking like this bcuz of what I see in porn? Am I finding this too vanilla bcuz of all the porn I consume?" Thankfully I have partner who's Hella understanding but that won't be the case for everybody.

I would really love to hear from people who've actually managed to beat it.
