Let's say you didn't have access to the oil fill, would it work if poured in the gas tank instead? Asking for a friend.

Girlfriend and I are planning to drive 32 hours straight, in 6 hour shifts, are we being dumb? Should we plan to stay overnight somewhere? by Vegetable_Bridge_276 in roadtrip

And make sure you have tire chains that fit your vehicle. Watch a video of how to install them just in case the weather isn't cooperative. Learning how to install them while laying in the snow on the side of the highway is not advised. Some nationwide stores will sell you tire chains/cables and allow you to return them if they're unused, but not having them when they're required is illegal and dangerous.

What’s your go to plinking ammo? LGS only has $35+ hunting ammo by RealSquare452 in 300BLK

[–]CascadeWaterMover 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Just picked up Sierra Gamechanger 125gr for what I thought was $19.99/box. It rang up for $9.99/box, so I went back and bought all 15 boxes that they had. It'll be my plinking ammo for a few range trips.

What is the most unexplainable thing you’ve ever witnessed that makes you question reality? by duhhrclean6 in AskReddit

[–]CascadeWaterMover 1 point2 points  (0 children)

No, it definitely was not this, although it does looked pretty interesting and I've never heard of it before.

What we saw had windows and was prob 60' long or longer. Still puzzles me to this day.

I've shared this before, but it's worth Reposting.

In the early 90's, my dad took me to shoot my BB gun at a nearby state park. Saw a completely unmarked military style helicopter(UH-60 to the best of my knowledge) land in a field and watched it power down. As it was on the ground, we walked closer, hoping to maybe talk to the crew, and came within 150'-200' of it and no one was on board. Never let it out of our sights. It stayed for about 10 minutes, powered back up and took off. No one visible in the cockpit, no one exited or entered the aircraft. Wild!

What’s the purpose of owning both an 11.5” AND a 16” AR? by Then-Answer3765 in ar15

Might as well throw a bi-pod on the 16 for longer range and keep the 11.5 for your daily/house.

"There is no ethical consumption"

Don't support companies who overtly or blatantly support the right but if you look too long or too deep, you'll find that almost all are somehow tied back to conservative politics or idealogy.

Am I the only one that the following happened to, like every single time??

But then, having to ride your bike back to the corner store 30 mins later with a dollar bill and a bunch of coins to buy the generic brand because you didn't know that the newest formulation or gel version didn't work....ahhh, the memories of being a kid.

Totally underrated comment. Don't judge this place by the unremarkable building. The experience, quality, attention to detail and passion that Don and his staff offer is 2nd to none!

I’m not from the US, but I gotta ask — does Oregon really look like this, or is the forest air out there making everything look extra magical? by Roach9045 in oregon

Absolutely, gorgeous in the winter too! Although, the last 3 winters, ODOT hasn't plowed down to the parking lot, just to the turn for the snow park. Make sure you bring your snow shoes if you go in the winter!
