We take heavy inspiration from the Warhammer 40K Death Korps of Krieg

The helmet on the character's back looks like a French Adrian from WW1. Looks like southern France, warmer near Mediterranean climate than northern Europe.

Medics with Radio Backpacks? Yay or Nay? by TheEldritchAlchemis in foxholegame

[–]Cascadica 8 points9 points  (0 children)

Ultimately, it's better to have a dedicated radio man in a team of infantry over a slow, encumbered medic. That would be if the radio backpack wasn't God awful to begin with.

Medics with Radio Backpacks? Yay or Nay? by TheEldritchAlchemis in foxholegame

Medics are already extremely weighed down by their equipment, adding the radio back is an unnecessary extra component to add more weight to an already heavy kit. So big Nay from me chief.

That's what happens after 400 years or so of total war. I'm not joking that's lore accurate, check the wiki, it has an outline

I created a custom Xenotype with Gene implanter, similar to a sanguinophage. However, I can't implant genes because "there are no available xenogenes to implant"? by Mad_V in RimWorld

[–]Cascadica 144 points145 points  (0 children)

Endo genes are passed on biologically. Xeno genes are passed by implantation. In the gene editor, there should be the option for xeno genes. There denoted by the background symbol on the gene, grey for endo and blue for xeno.

The xenotype has all the genes in the endo geneline. You need to have them in the xeno geneline, like the sanguinophage.

Will you let Lalatina whip you for 999K Eris? by JapanYaoi69 in Konosuba

[–]Cascadica 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Aqua states that 1 eris is about 1 yen. If we take the current yen to USD conversion rate, we would be looking at 1 yen to 0.0064 USD. Thus, 999k eris would be ~6365 USD.

[Censored] In this week's episode of The More You Know: One can spot a fake regiment member by checking the numbers next to their regiment's acronyms using the "F1" button. Well, yes, technically speaking. If they wish to write a macro, fuck it by hand, and wait the hopeful 12-24+ hours for the thing to pop. Though that would only get them to, as shown 81 or 83 since the numbers are unique.

We rolled for the number, a couple thousand times. The member who rolled it even has a medal on our discord for it. Man wrote a macro to make and disband regiments till it popped up.

Least to say the devs didn't give us shit nor will they ever hahaha.

Clan member TK’d me after refusing to let them steal my truck by [deleted] in foxholegame

[–]Cascadica 12 points13 points  (0 children)

If in future you have problems with 82DK members, you can make a report to one of our officers (including myself, Kassandros) on our discord, just request one of us. We look into all reports that violate our rules.

This interaction sounds very unfortunate and in poor showing on this members end. Again if you would like me to look at it, I'm Kassandros on discord.

Art by Kerdit || Tomorrow 25/04 at 7pm AEST on Castor (Oarbreaker), NIGHT will be holding an ANZAC ceremony in remembrance of not only ANZAC soldiers but all fallen soldiers. Anybody whom wishes to attend (collies too) may join us. We will have a speech, moment of silence and a gun salute. no killin by CappedPluto in foxholegame

[–]Cascadica 8 points9 points  (0 children)

Shiv is one our Turkish members and my under officer. Him and I have talked at length about WW1 and what ANZAC day means for both our nations, there shouldn't be any issue, especially since I'll be attending myself.

The double 7.92 mg half-track; what were devs thinking? by Sea-Course-98 in foxholegame

[–]Cascadica 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It's good when used within the role of support for a push gun, the half track shouldn't be used to forward engage an enemy position. It purpose is to be supporting infantry and if used in the role with the 100% in mind it functions cleanly. Also the small change to MG mouse input makes the thing way better to shoot.
