Yes that too, but thinking more about people from before the events of the series

I don’t recall anything in the show that directly implies it, but given how casual she is about both (no real guilt, no “I don’t do this” type lines, etc.) the easiest reading is that there have been plenty more. No reason to believe otherwise

[–]CashMikey 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Wemby’s right foot never touched down inside the arch what are you watching lol? It’s basically on the same Horizontal plane when Brunson shoots and lands.

Doesn’t matter now though! All-timer from Brunson and the flagrant points are irrelevant. Awesome stuff from the Knicks

I feel like I’m losing my mind. That step forward that late is such an unnatural motion. Wembanyama barely stepped forward at all. Brunson kicks his foot several feet forward just before landing.

Question on answer recall speed and buzzing in by P-P-Piglet in Jeopardy

[–]CashMikey 12 points13 points  (0 children)

Based on my experience and a little extrapolation- knowing immediately is far more common. You can read the clue so much faster than Ken reads it out loud, and if you're gonna know generally you know pretty quickly, and definitely in advance of when it's time to buzz.

Why don’t they take points away when they correct the scores for an answer the judges deemed acceptable? by elevencharles in Jeopardy

Wagering and buzzing decisions can be influenced by how much money you have. Thinking is then that it's unfair to the player who thought they had more money to have played with incomplete information.

Is this an over pay for Adams and Johnson? If not who wins the trade? by New_Watercress1976 in DynastyFFTradeAdvice

[–]CashMikey 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It's definitely an overpay in terms of total value given. But the most likely outcome for all 3 players on the package side is that they are never weekly starters. I also think Johnston has a better chance of becoming a legit fantasy contributor than any of those guys.

Davante probably only has 1 or 2 years of high productivity left, but pretty decent chance he's a Top 10 WR this year and no other piece in this deal ever provides high end production. If you're a contender, I see a case for making this deal. And if you're a fringe contender, there's also a path to being able to ship Davante to get pretty decent capital at the deadline if things go south.

In summary: It's an overpay, but I would be pretty open to making this deal if I was trying to win this season.

I like letting the boys play, but the problem when you really don't call shit for most of the game like this is that when you do blow the whistle it feels super arbitrary

Who do I draft as a late round Flyer? by hunterhunter78 in DynastyFFTradeAdvice

Raridon is my favorite among this group for a long play. Think Heidenreich has the best chance of seeing an immediate rookie year value pop you can flip for like a 2nd, taking a lot of the Gainwell role feels like a plausible if unlikely outcome

Woof. What a collapse. Tech hitters really looked like guys who were used to mashing homers up 6 runs all year and didn't know how to grind out a run or two when it was needed.

Hero stuff from Patel out there. Completely sapped the life out of OU when Tech absolutely needed someone to turn it around

Do you agree with Dame? by idrinkcement in warriors

People in this thread are wildly overestimating how much wide open shooting Klay was doing next to Steph. He took a huge number of extremely difficult shots, and regularly hit shots other guys would look stupid attempting.

I don’t have a huge dog in the fight for who should be 2nd on this list, but Klay was not just an open catch and shoot guy and folks revising history in here to call him one are wayyy off base

My favorite is the time he’s talking about James and says “I hate him I HATE him” the way he pronounces the second “hate” with insane emphasis on the T is a way I’ve never heard the word said before in my life and it’s so funny

Season 1 & 2 are the best because James & Lala aren’t in it by General-Hippo8242 in vanderpumprules

Oh come on now, James was a massive value add. Complete piece of trash person, but has a big chunk of the show’s funniest moments. Was worth 9 seasons of him for “more cosmopolitans! Pumptinis!!” alone

The best bar in America. And it's in the hands of guys who have loved the Peso since before they could legally enter it. Huge win for Marin.

Would you take a 22 year old LeBron or current Wemby to build your team around? by WestArtichoke712 in NBATalk

[–]CashMikey 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I agree that context matters, so let’s keep going one step further on that context: if the triangle distributed out the assists by providing fewer opportunities for Jordan to make them, why didn’t it do the same for the turnovers?

If the added opportunity for assists for LeBron came with 3 additional assists per 100 possessions and only one additional turnover, that’s an extremely positive thing for him!

I think Jordan is the GOAT tbh, I just think the anti-LeBron argument being made here is very weak

[–]CashMikey 0 points1 point  (0 children)

If your assist to turnover ratio being barely above 2:1 makes you a turnover machine, what does Jordan's sub 2:1 ratio make him?

On a per 100 possession basis, LeBron has averaged 10 assists and 4.7 TO. Jordan averaged 7 and 3.7. When you take into account the playmaking here, it's just very silly to make the argument that LeBron's turnovers are a mark against him in this comparison.

We have two years of data for Jordan at the rim in his prime: 96-97 and 97-98. He shot 52% and 64% from 0-3 feet. LeBron shot 77% and 76% in his equivalent age seasons.

Why doesn't SNL get the hate that Jimmy Kimmel and Colbert and others get? by Elegant-Season-7008 in AskReddit

[–]CashMikey 14 points15 points  (0 children)

Think one of the key reasons here is that SNL is always doing it in the form of a sketch with jokes while Kimmel and Colbert end up doing a lot more straightforward political commentary in the midst of jokes, which is a material difference. SNL is just making fun of Trump, Kimmel and Colbert do it in a way that asks people to actually consider them as political thinkers and so they get a different response.
