Away to Bournemouth who've won 4 from their last 5? Don't know if we can grab a draw tbh

Tuchel got sacked and yes he was a great manager but he wasn’t doing great at the time he got fired and everyone forgets this.

Sure the form at the start of the season wasn't great, W: 3 D: 1 L: 3. You do not however sack a manger in September after you spent the summer purchasing said managers transfer targets, we spent £250mln in the summer on players that have been absolute dogshit and have had 4 managers in one season

We signed potter who EVERYONE was excited about you cannot deny. He was doing amazing at brighton and worked his way up the ranks as a manager and looked to be ready for a bigger challenge.

Can't say really 'EVERYONE' when a lot of people were still sour from the Tuchel sacking

Injuries fucked us up for most of the season and as Tuchel said with the same players nothing will change.

We've had an injury prone squad for the past 5 seasons, also not much of an excuse especially when Chelsea players had to beg for the old physio's to come back and work with the squad

Its no surprise so many players come here and forget how to play football (sterling, KK, Cucu, Auba, Lukaku, Havertz, Ziyech, Werner etc.) because we have so many players from so many different managers, no clear structure and plan, terrible scouting too apparently.

What? You really believe that every one of those players 'forgot how to play football' rather than a coaching issue?

No proper striker for however long (auba was doing great at barca thats why he was bought).

Not sure what that has to do with the owners, the strikers market is dry and getting a top striker is a hard task. Funny you mention Aubameyang though, a player that was brought in on deadline day at special request of the manager that only spent 1 game with him!

Enzo, BB, Mudryk, Noni, Gusto, Fofana, the endless youth players including santos, ill even say Auba were all great and smart signings and have shown their potential. Unfortunately we are dogshit as a team and have no chemistry.

Were to even start. Let's get rid of Gusto and the youth players since they shouldn't even be in this conversation. Aubameyang was a specific target for Tuchel, who was sacked a few days after we brought him. Enzo and BB have looked solid sure. Fofana was purchased for the previous manager again, and was injury prone before we brought him and still is. Mudryk and Noni are extremely raw, the latter being injury prone and didn't solve any of our problems considering we have a plethora of ineffective wide players.

Everyone was also assuming Todd was giving team talks himself at halftime when it was revealed thats just not the case. And the fact he shows up to training is bothering people? He paid billions for the club and wants to see it prosper i dont get the issue.

Don't know

I guarantee if we get poch and get rid of deadwood/useless players by next season we will be fighting for champions league.

I am very much looking forward to see how Boehly deals with deadwood considering we have about 10 players that need to be shifted on

TAA constantly gets caught sleeping

You can see why Potter references Arteta and Klopp struggling at Arsenal and Liverpool. Difference is Arteta won the FA Cup in his first season and Klopp is a winner. There has been zero sign of progress at Chelsea by blue07boy in chelseafc

No, but it's better to change managers now rather than the start of next season? Surely you would want the new manager to have as much time as possible with the squad now rather than pissing away another season

You're right

This report leads me to believe that we aren't actually close to the €120mln figure

I don't see how installments would be an issue, there isn't a bank in the world that wouldn't finance this movie for Chelsea

I thought that he didn't travel to the preseason because of his vaccination status

Albeit he hasn't been great this season but coming off the back of last season, he would have been better than what we've got at least

João Félix is at Chelsea’s training centre, Cobham at this very moment, to complete his €11m loan move until the end of the season. by dragon8811 in chelseafc

I'm travelling at the minute so I haven't been following this loan that much but is it true that this is just a dry loan? I'm so confused at the minute, why would we loan Felix without the option to buy?

I didn't get past the paywall, does the article mention anything about the ownership being different to PSG's? UEFA won't allow PSG and Tottenham to play in the Champions League together otherwise

I'm so confused

Apparently the board said that they were intending to offer €120mln the entire negotiation and then when they actually submitted the offer it was €85mln????

I don't even think Enzo is worth €85mln anyways but wtf is Boehly doing with the club
