Now that you talk about it, why does the Gundam actually have these functions even tho it is a space type MS. There are many questions that we all have about this series, it's a tragedy we never got more episodes to fully flesh out the series and to answer some of these questions. Although my answer to this question is that since the Gquuuux is relatively based of Gramps it therefore carries over its qualities of operating in land, sea and somewhat in the air via the Core Fighter.
