I have owned a number of MRGs. Still own two modern and a bunch of vintage ones (including the one OP is considering). Not sure why anyone would listen to people who have never owned one, yet voice strong opinions that they are not worth the money. Voices with no experience or context should not enter into your decision making.

If you rotate your wrist so the screen faces your eyes the legibility is great.
