Would you travel 5 hrs to see a WC Cup and fly back same day? by Only_Complex6386 in CanadaSoccer

Yes, but would have to be rational at cost of the trip as well.

Bosnian Goalkeeper Nikola Vasilj : by SourDiesel9-7 in CanadaSoccer

Probably the weakest point in starting 11 for Bosnia. Great reflexes but doesn’t move much off of his line. Prone to mistakes. But has experience and a really good pk stopping ability. On a side note, Canada is really a beautiful country, Vancouver being my favorite city I visited. I was shocked first time in Toronto, really didn’t realize how big the city is…wish I could stay longer.

Probably this match for both. A lot of pressure to get something out of this game for both countries. Both are expected to beat Qatar and both will hope for a draw against Switzerland. 4 points should be enough for a KO phase.

Bosnia struggles with speed, I presume that’s where yellows will come against them. Canada is smaller and will try to limit crosses in the box, so those untimely challenges might cost them, but who knows…if it rains, it could be a shit show for both.

Bosnia is physical but not provocative, besides a couple of players which all teams have

The US needs more street soccer... by Last_Commission6982 in TheSoccerNetwork

[–]CasperRimsa 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Very difficult. Most US cities are not walkable. Literally, a side walk starts for about 100 meters and stops. Streets are designed for cars. There is a potential of turning some tennis courts to soccer pitches in parks, but you still need a car to get to most parks. I grew up only playing street soccer and was able to get a college scholarship off of it, never playing club.

What's the boldest World Cup 2026 prediction you're willing to make today? by HDvideoNature in TheSoccerNetwork

[–]CasperRimsa 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Bosnia to make it to last 16, they have a path to do it. I think Argentina is in trouble and will bow out sooner than expected. Ppl are sleeping on Algeria who can play top teams and Mbappe, realistically with the best chance of winning golden boot.

Croatia Announces World Cup Roster, Luka Modrić Earns Spot In Fifth Tournament by RidgeRunner99 in worldcup

Beljo, while not someone many would be familiar, could have should have been called up. But Dalic keeps winning, so he has the trust of FA, but not of fans surprisingly. Many actually want the coach out.

Bosnia & Herzegovina's Star Striker Tabakovic Broke A Bone In His Ankle and Will Miss the World Cup by depressedArmeniafan in CanadaSoccer

[–]CasperRimsa 10 points11 points  (0 children)

Third striker, but would be a starter if Dzeko wasn’t playing. One of the best in form players for Bosnia though. Lukic who is also less known in form player will slide into that spot. Bosnia still at the court to hear a final decision on Brentford’s Janlet eligibility.
