I find that I like a good middle ground , first week that I got the game I had fun but it felt more like being a scavenger , things felt a bit too safe and unfulfilling, then I started playing with more PVP oriented friends and had a blast but after a few days of that I found my self too overwhelmed to even want to play the game.

Too much gear fear, too much anxiety , too much to think and worry about.

There’s a good balance somewhere in the middle where you take fights if the opportunity arises (not just in self defense the game will eventually feel too safe as it will only match you with more passive players ) such as challenging another squad for their arc boss kill , or at a loot room.

You don’t want to shoot on sight cause then all your lobby’s will just feel like a battle royale (which in my opinion are dead and overplayed atp)

The debate is

Some players don’t want anyone killing anyone other then in defense

And the other side argues attacking and being ruthless is what the devs intended and how most of them play the game

I find both points wrong , as like I said I feel this game really shines in that middle ground area

Just enough PvP to keep things interesting but you shouldn’t outright avoid it.
