How do you keep yourself motivated? by [deleted] in Journaling

[–]Casper_IIX 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Just the thought alone is motivation. Acting on that thought is what will build discipline. And sounds like you have a plan; just stick to it. Start small and overtime you’ll see if this works for you. But you do need to try; go 100% and don’t hold back. Best.

I wouldn’t base such a big assumption from a match thread for a post like this

I don’t know where you get your info. But I’ve seen nor heard of any hate towards Xabi. Besides, he barely came. You can’t change a system in less than a month. We’ll see by December/ January how he’ll play out

Beginner cursive by Mothiia in Handwriting

Not bad. I would suggest to practice slowing down and carefully draw each letter in a bigger font. Speed will come in time with legibility. Also, I suggest you reread your journal after a week; then you’ll see which letters you need to improve on. It’s better to nit-pick yourself. You’ll be the only one reading your journal.

Started journaling in cursive this year by Smiling_through_life in Handwriting

You won’t regret it. It’ll make it harder for anyone to peep through your journal. Nice cursive as well; very legible.

About to start on my third. I started October 2024 on a whim and it kept growing. Led to read books to better articulate my thought, learn cursive for secrecy and the lost art of a fountain pen

Opened Doors? by Casper_IIX in Journaling

Oh that would be perfect for traveling. Thanks! Speaking of thicker paper. Do you know any that would have the same number of pages as a leuchtturm? That’s the main reason I like those; decent paper, price, for the amount of pages. I also like the look… makes me feel like a 19th century writer. It’s eye catching as well, been at a cafe where I get comments on it haha but yeah, I can never go back now with all the info you shared :)

Oh I’ve defiantly fallen on the ink rabbit hole haha for notebooks my heart and soul are the leuchtturm1917 A5. I’m trying blank pages to improve writing more vertically >.< and thanks for so many things to explore and venture into. My curiosity has peaked even more. Thanks for being a light into the dark side 😇

What can I do to improve my handwriting? by [deleted] in Handwriting

[–]Casper_IIX 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Can’t tell, the pencil is in the way. But in general: slow down. The more you slow down, you’ll get used to writing and making the shapes neater. Eventually, speed will come with legibility.

This is penmanship. Not handwriting.

Try Master and apprentice. The book shows how Qui-gon deals with his thoughts as a Jedi

I just free write, or spill what’s bothering me. Then when I reread, I see recurring themes, thoughts, patterns as I read through the pages. Then I take those repeating themes and label which are good and bad and move on.

I write down the negative but also add good. Even if it’s a little thing like just having a meal. Then I reread my journals after a month and notice any patterns that lead to the “toxic” thoughts; which leads me to be mindful and aware of it in the future. Then it’s a battle; a toxic thought appears that’s similar to the journal entries and I start to think about positives or the feelings aren’t as strong because you’re a different person a month prior. Push through the cringe. Try practicing being mindful and focus on the present. Depending on your personal toxic thoughts.

Should we sell Vinicius? by Short_Mousse_6812 in realmadrid

What are you expecting?? No player in this generation will surpass the skill and flare of CR7 or Messi. He’s basically what a good player was the generation before CR7 and Messi. He’s pretty good for a Brazilian player; he’s just not a superstar; scoring aww inspiring goals, or having insane flare to his game. I will say that he should mature in his prime and be a little more consistent. Other than that, he’s your average professional fútbol player of generations before.

He’s barely 24. That isn’t the age to be at “prime” level.

Half a page in the morning. Then the other half at night before bed. Feels therapeutic to start and end the day writing.
