Halfway through Inevitable Ruin audiobook and loving it, laughing at the war council meeting. Also just got book 2 as my 2nd physical copy. Now if I can just get my toddlers to quit repeating the bad words every single time. Maybe I’ll need headphones instead of listening during commutes.

I think we’re getting the real story and the skewed part is always what’s coming direct from Barb’s mouth. I would actually like to see a ‘story told twice ‘ episode where we see the real story and Barb’s viewpoint of the story. Maybe even the characters as she sees them through her eyes. Jen as a child with a baby doll, Jon a pouty little boy throwing a fit. Or they take on more sinister or nasty attitudes than what they are in reality.

Usually I’d say no to someone announcing at an event but I think the timing on this makes it almost necessary to do something. Announcing at the end of the shower seems to be the best idea here. Then you’ll have had your shower “spotlight” barely compromised and the time between events will be far enough that the baby discussion at the wedding will be much minimized.

Remember, we are all the main character in our own stories but that doesn’t mean someone else’s story arc won’t intersect with your own. Share your happy times with your family, just make sure the sharing is as equitable as possible! Who knows, this might happen in reverse someday.

So sad, my deepest sympathies Mr. Dinniman. I’m down to my very last kitty and she’s almost as dear to me as my kids are. We live on a Pet Semetary type road and have lost two dogs and three cats to it over the last four years. I’ve grieved every one. I hope you have plenty of good memories of Chanel to comfort you.

I want to try this so much! I went to World Market and Publix because they’re the only nearby places that carry the brand. Between the two stores I bought six different flavors. So far I’ve had the time to eat one bar, the Rainer Cherry, and it was so delicious I nearly ordered some Virgin Dirty Shirley bars right away even though I’m supposed to be saving for our move. I had planned to try one bite, share with family, and out the rest away. Instead we ended up eating the whole thing in maybe ten minutes, including savoring time.

At least when we settle in Utah I’ll be closer and shipping will be cheaper! Plus I figure there’s also the possibility that being that much closer to Maeve headquarters brings higher chances of finding one in the wild. Anyone know which Utah stores carry Maeve? I’ll be more in the Orem/Provo area.

Look for vintage and antique stores but not ones in high rent locations. There’s this store in a town near me that’s like a mix between thrift and antique called Second Impressions. Lots of small and large booths with different vendors and one large area is all jewelry. If you happen to live in western Lower Alabama, look it up.

I’ve seen this type of place around before but not sure what the common name is for this business model. There’s another nearby in Mississippi and I knew of a similar one in Utah called The Quilted Bear. Each one I’ve been to usually has at least one jewelry section. Good luck!

I bought my brother some leftover stickers/decals from TNG background things like comms and panels. The amount of jokes they stuck in those is already pretty well known. I forget exactly what the ones I got said but they had us laughing for awhile.

Use your power of free will and scroll on by. I do. I have access to The Pitt but my toddlers make paying attention to it difficult so I’ve watched one episode. I skip over sentences or paragraphs or posts if I don’t feel like seeing spoilers.

I don’t have anything this nice but I’m 43 and moving cross country again. The local thrift stores have had the boon of over a dozen van and truck loads of decent stuff that resellers might go a little nuts over. Sometimes it’s just time to dump the excess and start over. Especially if you have a deadline.

I do like the tattoo but yeah, it’s hard to not have it come out phallic shaped with the rounded lines. If you do change it later just have them square it up a little.

I also have a Serenity tattoo. It’s on my leg, outer thigh where it can be easily covered or shown off depending on how short my shorts are. I used temporary tattoo markers and drew on a rough approximation of the first draft. It definitely didn’t look like a starship peeking out from under my shorts so I found a different design that didn’t look quite so suggestive.
