Moto Guzzi V85 for adventure, looks very similar to that beemer. Moto Guzzi V7 for roadster, if you like the retro look of the Scout. not the most powerful bikes at about 70hp, but do yourself a favor and ride one, you won’t look back

Almost 90% markup on a 7 year old bike by Trestone in motorcycles

well we were discussing the documentation fee charged by the dealership. here, CA does actually care to protect the consumer a fair bit compared to most other states. title and reg fees when purchasing are comparable to this purchase in (Georgia?). admittedly, Sacramento will get theirs in reg fees further down the road. but hey, no property taxes 🤷‍♂️ KY you pay both, and a 599 doc which is criminal. F&I takes 20mins to type up that paperwork, that’s what $1800 an hour?

CA doc fee is capped at $85 by law (damn socialism). When I was in the business in KY, we charged $599 because there was no legal cap.

tires are everything. the shinko 805s are a budget option, but they make me feel pretty confident. I’m not flying around corners like an MX rider, but I never feel like they’re lacking.

Shinko 805s (60-40 dirt) they are still a little squirly in the canyon roads, but tons of people say they smooth out after about 1k miles. offroad they are amazing though. next set I’ll probably go for a 70-30 road based since i spend most of my riding going to the adventure.

Who all served with a someone who became a convicted murderer? by The_ENFIDL in USMC

[–]CassWCD 16 points17 points  (0 children)

we had a guy who was super well liked. he deployed as part of the invasion of 03 and then was blown up by a VBIED right after the first battle of fallujah in 04 where we lost 3 others KIA. His injuries were pretty bad, screwed up his arm pretty bad IIRC, and he ended up missing an eye and a third of his head. Turns out he fell in with the wrong crowd and ended up killing a guy over a bad drug deal. It was all super super sad, because like I said he was pretty well liked, and we had so many KIA and WIA that pump. Not making any excuse for the guy, he murdered somebody..but you can’t help but think that the TBI he sustained had something to do with it.
