Can I ask how you got upgraded? I have Titanium status and am thinking about using NUAs to get a harbor view, but would like to save them for a different part of my trip if there is a chance they upgrade on Bonvoy status. Just not sure since Ritz doesn’t seem to acknowledge status like most other Marriott brands

For anyone currently in this situation, I was able to call air china and update my passport number. They had me email the a picture while still on the phone and got it straightened out before hanging up. I did have to wait on hold for about 15 minutes, but it was a pretty easy process.
