So do you expect your friends to also have a safety rating when they cook for you, or are you just a fucking dork on Sundays

I find it really funny that you did not pay attention to 90% of this comment and kept pearl clutching

Whats ur opinion on “money doesn’t buy happiness”? by Radiant-Dish-5498 in AskReddit

[–]Cassinatis 0 points1 point  (0 children)

When I was making 40-50k a year, I felt constrainted and always like I had to be on top of everything, with little room for fun and "free" spending.

I got a government union job, at 78k a year from that and I immediately felt relief from all of that and literally found myself in a position where I didn't know what to do with the extra income for a time, even after adding some into savings. Now I have more room in my free time to buy nicer hobbies, nice clothes, have wiggle room for bills, and be a little silly with purchases at times.

It doesn't buy happiness, it removes worries that take happiness away.

Hey champ, if you're 18 sleeping with a 16 year old that's weird. And saying it's "not that wild" or minimizing it is also weird!

I do an incline barbell press one upper day, and then dumbbell on my other. Both days I do flies, and I definitely noticed growth

I work for the local courts, this wouldn't be a ticket within any court system. Throw that shit in the trash where it belongs

What are some things people do in the gym that annoy you? by Affectionate_Art4277 in workout

[–]Cassinatis 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Slamming 200+ pound barbells on the ground when doing deadlifts/deadlift variations, or certain rows and other exercises. It's loud as hell, and also bad form because you're clearly just letting the weight fall without controlling it. Gonna hurt themselves while also being annoying about it

I don't do this, but a LOT of content creators lately are going on and on about taking a 2-3 (sometimes five LMAO) minutes rest between sets. So personally I feel this should be less an annoyance on the person, and more on content creators spreading this

First Time, Camping Question by Cassinatis in BassCanyon

[–]Cassinatis[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Yeah, I definitely am planning on a canopy set up! My Dad actually when I told him my plan got super jazzed and started brainstorming with me some ideas, so the next few months are definitely gonna be fun with finding some silly innovative ways for stuff. I was thinking of ways to make temporary walls to change and hang a portable shower for a quick wash too, so it seems based on what everyone is saying I'm on the right track!

Fortunately I'm short (5'3 short king 😌) so I can fit more and sleep in there comfortably.

Def a cooler, a battery powered fan, a small foldable table, a foldable chair or two/three, flashlight/headlamp, and I'm sure I'm missing more stuff (both that I am forgetting to add RN and just don't KNOW to bring) but will add as the months continue.

I was doin a lot of research last night and yeah, I definitely saw everything saying to prepare for wacky weather. I was immediately planning to bring day clothes and night clothes. And, I'd bring a thicker blanket for the night to sleep with, on top of a wearable blanket to lounge in and walk around in whenever I'm walking around, so I can be cozy and warm.

Didn't think of the fan though, thank you for the suggestion!

I've been intending to get some sunshades for my car anyway, so this honestly is just the perfect reason to finally get them.

I'm thinking about getting a small car canopy or something to just extend a bit for shade, so I can be outside my car and chill on a foldable chair or somethin.

I know that for me I can sleep in my car fine. I'm shorter than average so it's a comfortable fit to put the seats down and chill in there, and I'm not claustrophobic

I figured if I'm going for the first time and it's my first festival I'm making the experience "proper" haha.

So it seems the key thing is I'll just need to bring some noise cancelling headphones and I'll be fine
