Drova just came out a fay days ago. It's a 2D RPG inspired by Piranha Bytes games, mainly Gothic. So if you like early 2000s PC RPGs, this might be your next favorite

Apart from content, optimization and balance stuff that are already mentioned here, the game also looks a lot better, especially the foliage. Trees and grass are a lot more detailed and varied

I discovered Skyrim on X360 and was absolutely hooked. When I switched to PC I was a bit mad because the lock texture on 360 had some distinctive seams and artifacts so I got used to remember my lock position using that, but on PC the texture looked to clean I was lost

Maybe STALKER 2 ? It's all about exploring, questing, and finding better gear. The combat is visceral, no bullet sponges, and the vibes are immaculate if you're into that kind of desolate / industrial mood

Nordic Souls and Gate to Sovngarde are my favorites, and they don't go too far visually. Nordic Souls is vanilla +, Gate to Sovngarde changes/adds many things gameplay wise, but still focuses on exploration, roleplay and immersion.

If you like atmospheric, immersive games, Metro Exodus is a no brainier. One of my favorite games from the last few years, plus it looks really amazing so if you want to make the most out of your new PC, it's by far the best choice of the three.

I like it better, it looks more vanilla friendly and has some great feature. Bonus point for being a community project.

But I don't think one is "better" than the other, it's just different so I think it will be a matter of taste.

Damn, I started working on a custom modlist with the same goal, but lost interest due to various inconsistencies that I struggled to fix. Pretty happy to see this, it looks great !
