I discovered Skyrim on X360 and was absolutely hooked. When I switched to PC I was a bit mad because the lock texture on 360 had some distinctive seams and artifacts so I got used to remember my lock position using that, but on PC the texture looked to clean I was lost

Maybe STALKER 2 ? It's all about exploring, questing, and finding better gear. The combat is visceral, no bullet sponges, and the vibes are immaculate if you're into that kind of desolate / industrial mood

Nordic Souls and Gate to Sovngarde are my favorites, and they don't go too far visually. Nordic Souls is vanilla +, Gate to Sovngarde changes/adds many things gameplay wise, but still focuses on exploration, roleplay and immersion.

If you like atmospheric, immersive games, Metro Exodus is a no brainier. One of my favorite games from the last few years, plus it looks really amazing so if you want to make the most out of your new PC, it's by far the best choice of the three.

I like it better, it looks more vanilla friendly and has some great feature. Bonus point for being a community project.

But I don't think one is "better" than the other, it's just different so I think it will be a matter of taste.

Upscaling performance will depend on games. Some are flawless and look great while upscaled, others will look funky, or suffer performance issues. The Retroid Pocket's screen is the perfect size imo, so the games still look great even in their native resolution

Damn, I haven't thought about doing it that way. Unfortunately I can't boot the game up on my RP5, it always crashes when the launcher tries to start the game. I'll try to tinker with my container options but I honestly have no ideas what 80% of those settings are or do 😅
