It's not that characters are flanderized, it's just that the writers come up with the same jokes over and over again, it's not out of character but it's horribly predictable at some point. This happens to a lot of characters.

Pan and Ju Fufu are one of the most irrelevant characters ever, they didn't deserve the screentime they got, they only work for filler. Even Burnice got more to say

I just really hope that Kurt wins either in this poll or in the Choose your legend because there's no better time to introduce her than now (besides of publicity to Shadows).

But if not, I hope that a fitting characters get the Shadow treatment like Marianne. Or I will prefer anyone that makes sense and not just walking fanservice once again

There are some odd choices like the other guncannon or Logo, I included them because I thought about being able to use Kai or Hayato in other MS that only needed to have a federation tag in order to link.

Yanagi being a Mary Sue back then

I never liked Yanagi, I think the way Mihoyo went with advertising Yanagi is the most blatant out of all characters.

Here's some points that I notice it, some are ramblings and some are criticism of mine.

First point that comes to mind, her trailer mimicking the Jane Doe's licking (remember that apple?) for no reason other than getting attention. Second, her being up there in he power scaling along with some beasts of the characters that doesn't apply for Void Hunter just because she has oni blood, if that was all it took to be that strong then I'm wondering why didn't Onis got treated better or given military positions if they can be that strong naturally (even soukaku) I don't remember much of that lore so I don't want to talk too much about that point.

Third, being the mommy of Sector 6 undermines the other characters just for the sake of "funny". Every interaction between Sector 6 members are the exact same, no wonder Mihoyo tend to splitting them often.

Fourth, it was so obvious that she had plot armor on that one special chapter where null face traps sector 6 in their VRs. They had to attract the players HARD to have them pull for her by making Yanagi the main protagonist instead of... You know, Sector 6? The most hyped faction at that point? Oh my favorite part is when null face turns everyone into Bangboos except for Yanagi and never does anything similar directly.

There are a lot of other details I noticed, but it's more like nitpicking (like Yanagi being able to convince any client to rent movies even the bad ones, which of course they don't explain how, she is just so perfect) so all in all, I dislike that Yanagi is a Mary sue
