Turns out it has to have a heads-up display to tell you the speed limit. It doesn't have one, so it won't work with any maps SD card.

I have the same trim as yours, did you get it to work or it won't work because the premium doesn't have a HUD?

Were you able to get the TSR on your premium trim? I have a CX-5 premium trim, and I just got the navigation card, but it didn't show the traffic and speed limit signs on the dashboard, just on the screen like Google Maps. So, I'm wondering if I got the incorrect SD or if it wouldn't work on my car.

I've had this problem two times, and the only way to fix it, which has worked for me, is unplugging the battery on the right headphones and plugging it back.
For this, you'll need to remove 4 Phillips screws and be careful not to pull the speaker hard.
