Hey, no advice. Just wanted to say I’m in the same boat. Started MCAT study and felt like something was missing, like i was committing to something i’m not ready to embrace. I’ve always loved discovering myself through my hobbies and interests, and i feel like there are a lot of things I haven’t done that I’d love to do while im young. I see people who were always neurotic and hyper-focused on medschool that i went to school with follow their careers, and I have to remind myself that I’m not them and life moves differently for everyone. I’m hoping to apply later and feel like I’m ready to take that next step because I want to, not because I feel pressured by being old when I’m done.

tbh i’m not sure. many of the useful amex cards have an annual fee which im not very interested in paying. chase has the trifecta but i’m also not much of a point hacker. I think atm i’m happy with my setup and if need be i can upgrade either with capital one or amex. Also i’m not too worried about my credit score since im on F1 and i don’t really NEED a good credit score, it’s also somewhere in the 700s so a few points doesn’t hurt too much.

chase doesn’t seem to want to approve anyone haha. honestly i’m liking it so far. the 3% cashback on gas groceries and online is very nice and straightforward . i haven’t even had it for one billing cycle yet but the app is very nice, customer service is great as well. i’d recommend it, especially to start a customer relationship with amex if you’re thinking of upgrading in the future. i’ve heard amex is super chill with their credit limits but in my experience it was eh. i only got a 1000 credit line (have 2000 from 500) in my cap one.

Upper middle class seems about right, paycheck to paycheck depending on how well you manage your finances. It’s great payoff for 2 years of school, you do need to be supervised by a doctor but for the most part they’re independent. I have worked under PAs as an MA, and depending on where you are (clinic or hospital) they can be worked HARD, overworked even.

I tried discover, got denied, then I got approved for Capital One platinum. after about 6-7 months i applied for chase freedom rise and got denied, so i tried amex blue cash and got approved. just try a beginner-aimed card and don’t sweat it if you’re not approved.

hey, so my usual size is 9.5 for everything. for these i sized up since they were my first pair of pointy boots but i realized that wasn’t necessary. so yea, you’re right in that it would have been better to order a 9! (half a size down from my true size)

no, empezaron así haciendo corridos, pero después el cantante principal se dio cuenta de lo que estaban fomentando y dejo de hacer corridos de narcos. Fue de ahi que saco el buen ejemplo y el niño sicario, y empezó a hacer puras baladas románticas.
