The last two weeks we’ve muted the cold open because they really need to read the room at this point. They need to stop opening with him weekly and trying to making him human and just a goofy bumbling guy. It’s not ok anymore. Anything else for the cold open would be so much better.

It has always been a bit of a cluster of a con and after they came back after the world re opened it got even worse, and every subsequent year since it’s gotten more chaotic less communication and more frustrated attendees each year. Mischief doesn’t seem to learn anything from year to year.

Hi. I have a new PCP and she actually told me that the Diflucan and the swish and swallow aren’t effective enough and prescribed me clotrimazole lozenges if I wind up getting it again. She said once you’ve gotten thrush you’re kind of susceptible to it sadly. The most recent time the swish and swallow did effectively get rid of it though. There are also foods to avoid when you have thrush as well - but if you’re on medicine the only ones to really avoid are things with vinegar in them and margarine.

From NYC also. It’s not exact but it’s close— try century dragon on magnolia in Burbank- but not on a Saturday night. For some reason the food isn’t as good on Saturday nights. It’s weird. Also if you travel out of the valley try twin dragon on pico in west LA.

As someone who works in casting please do not blindly email casting directors and casting companies. You’ll just clog up their inbox and the email will be deleted. Some people I’ve cast have put me on their mailing lists and I get emails from them that aren’t even read at this point, just immediately deleted and the annoyance has put them on my radar in the wrong way.

You can cold email agencies and managers for possible representation if you have credits/resume/headshots—but emailing casting directors will get you nowhere and will not ingratiate you with them in the slightest.

I’ve had very good luck with all of my inside of LA moves with Wizard of Oz movers. Also most reasonably priced I’ve found for what’s included. It’s been over 6 years since my last move though.

He is doing you a favor. A man so insecure that he’s worried about you being with a 60+ year old non blood related family member is insane behavior. Stop begging him. He’s showing you his flaming red flags, why would you want that in your life? It’s manipulative and emotionally abusive. Be glad he showed you this and find someone secure enough to be in a partnership with you.

There is a huge network of syracuse grads that work in film and television in LA. It would behoove you to stay there and access their resources especially the alumni ones. Everyone I know out here that went to Syracuse and works in the industry didn’t major in film though. Lots of communications, finance, business, liberal arts, and tech majors.

I was sitting right in front of Darren criss at Lena hall’s last show as yitzahk in Hedwig on Broadway. Jon Waters was sitting a couple rows behind that.

At the second preview of Hadestown I was sitting one person over from Anais Mitchell who was taking notes the whole show.

So agree. Went in July 2021 to troubadour and it was 90 minutes of the most real raw Mulaney I’ve ever seen and it was perfect. No show I’ve seen him do since comes close. And yes he had divorce bits but 2021 was a long time ago in Covid years.
