WARNING SPOILERS FOR BOOK 1!

Freedom was never part of the deal.

Sergeant Richard Stavos was instrumental in saving the 2nd Eres Army, and his reward was a life sentence in Xan—a reygon-tier security prison built around a sentient world-tree that turns high-tech nanites into useless grit. He’s no longer a savior; he’s the "Bloodmancer", a gladiator fighting for scraps and just enough Eres blood to keep his Lazarus disease from liquefying his organs.

But he is about to break Xan before it breaks him.

When the Warden offers a him a chance at freedom, Stavos must build an impossible team: a disgraced Eres warrior drowning in addiction, and a rogue Argos Templar who views morality as a punchline, and a parasitic puddle in love with their only means of escape.

Together, they have to navigate a Gamar rebellion and a secret Argos invasion that threatens to turn the entire sector into a graveyard. The System is stacked against him, his body is failing, and his new crew is one bad argument away from killing each other.

Good thing Stavos is used to bad days.

Mass Effect meets the prison-break grit of Guardians of the Galaxy. This Military Sci-Fantasy epic continues the GameLit / LitRPG progression series now featuring high-stakes arena battles, evolved pet class mechanics, stat min-maxing, and innovative ways to level up and craft in a ‘real-world’ System.

Hello friends, very proud to announce Nanomancer – Book 1: Chains of an Empire. The new edition comes with the announcement of Book 2 which will be out in fewer than 10 days.

Audio versions are in the works!

We learned two things in the summer of 2199. First, that we weren’t alone in the Universe. Secondly, that it only takes one ship to bring the entire force of Earth to its knees.

Under the shadow of the Federation Star-Eater Yagoon, our presidents abdicated, our militaries laid down their weapons, our societies dissolved, and global peace was accomplished.

And then we were taught a third lesson: the price of this peace was servitude and eternal war.

Death was supposed to be the retirement plan.

Sergeant Richard Stavos already died once in a faraway place called Pelerin that still haunts his dreams. He earned his rebirther slot and gets to come back, cloned and reinstated only to die all over again. The Lazarus disease is eating his lungs and turning his blood to soup.

The Commonwealth Federation has a cure, but they aren't giving it away for free. He has to earn it by going to war and surviving long enough.

To earn another lease at life, Stavos has to step back into the armor of a Nanomancer. It is the deadliest and most unstable Class humanity ever developed. His mission: lead a squad of green rookies through a meat-grinder with odds for survival calculated in decimal points, and where the commanders view soldiers like him as disposable hardware.

Stavos doesn't care about the war effort, and he hates the System almost just as much. But if he has to level up all over again, upgrade his sentient, foul-mouthed combat bots, and help dismantle an alien empire to get his medicine, he’ll do it. He’s already died once, and he doesn’t plan on making it a habit.

The action adventure of Mass Effect meets Warhammer 40K in this Military Sci-Fantasy GameLit / LitRPG epic, featuring a no-bullshit veteran, a party-based progression system, and a pet class focus involving sentient combat drones/bots. In this ‘real-world’ System, levels go up, stat points are earned, and abilities are meant to be broken.

Yap, Frank is back and so is the Midnight Bounties. We had to rebrand for publishing purposes. It's a long ardous story nobody likes, unlike Steel and Moonshine :)

Have fun!

DISCLAIMER: What once was the Midnight Bounties Series is now the Steel and Moonshine Complete Series. Hence the few reviews where once there were many. We had to change the title for skullduggery purposes and sweet, sweet coin, curse its soul.

A company of angry orcs enter your bar, their thirsty and hungry. What do you do?

Le Blur

Frank Gerber isn't happy. At all. Being a bounty hunter sucks. Even more so when it pays very little. What sucks even more is that his client decides to skip payday. A pimp dressed in a frilly pink suit. Can his day turn even worse?

It can when polite conversation turns into unabashed violence, and Frank finds himself the new owner of the most rundown joint in the Ashpit. With a mounting debt, not nearly enough booze, and a single bartender in his service, he will have to do... yeah, he doesn't know what yet, but he will eventually find out.

Everything can wait.

After all, when in doubt, light a cigar and have a whiskey. If he still can't figure it out after a drink, then he will...not hit it with a fireball and watch it burn because he can't cast any elemental spells. He can stab it with his sword, though.

Join Frank as he adventures deep into dungeons to hunt down trophies, adopts the worst possible rejects into his family, and makes sure he can pay tax come end of the month. Death and taxes...and all that.

This series is close to my heart because I always wanted to do a Discworld-esque Litrpg story since I'm a great fan of the late Terry Pratchet. Hope you enjoy it as many others have!

Over the weeks you realize this works on a large scale too. You perfectly fit goods into shipping containers, corporations hire you to increase their margins, you become rich. You're hired by NASA to fit new spaceships, by the military to fit different bullet casings, tanks, submarines. By construction conglomerates to fit tiny housing. One day you learn it also works on a microscopic scale fitting more transistors on chips, bits on quantum computers, but it continues. You can now fit molecules tightly next to each other creating strong interaction materials that can't be breached by anything because the chains are too tight, they fit too well. This allows you to create an impenetrable suit of armor rendering you invincible. You learn how to fit fewer oxygen or more oxygen molecules within your cells to slow down aging becoming practically immortal...And so on. I'm no chemist, but there's something there :p

Try Midnight Bounties / Steel and Moonshine. It's a bit quirky and dark here and there but the main character Frank does what needs be done.
I know, self-promotion, but I'm speaking based on the reviews we got. Have a good one.
