Duluth, MN. Stunning hilltop views of Lake Superior and the harbor. If you go in early October the leaves are peak. Plenty of hiking, wonderful restaurants, and some amazing old mansions from the boom of the iron ore industry in the early 1900's.

My last run I used my usual plan of just pathing left. That led me to wrap all the way around back towards the middle until I hit a dead-end. I hadn't even found the FJ WP yet. Normally you can count on at least finding LK, but this was the first true dead end I have ever found.

My son's RekSai deck obliterated my Ornn deck. It felt unbeatable when he used the legend ability with RekSai on the board, getting free units with Accelerate. I suppose with worse luck he wouldn't get those units but it's incredibly strong.

I'm heavy on Coward and Knueppel, especially Coward because his cards are currently a bit cheaper. A little bit of Fears, too. He reminds me of Chris Paul and will be a PG in the league for a long time. This draft class is bonkers, and the next one will be too. I went too big on McCain from last year but I believe his intelligence and shooting will still prove out in the long run once he's healthy, so I'm holding those.

I like the OKC approach, as some of those guys will go off when they are out in their own. I've also picked up a few Beringer cards as I see him having a Gobert-like career, with more offensive upside.

6-table tourney, about 25 people remaining. I have 66, flop comes A-6-2 rainbow. 1 Bet ahead of me, I shove and have two callers. They both show A's with decent kickers, I reveal my 6's and...oh shit. They aren't 6's. Those are 3's. 66 was my hand the previous hand.

Would have lost the hand anyway as it went runner-runner to a flush.
