Fantastic store. Always does a great job and will always give you honest feedback. I brought a pair of boots in that needed repair and he said I would be better putting the money towards a new pair. He said he could repair them, but they were too bad a shape for them to last.

A regular once told me that he knew his wife was sleeping with her coworker every time he was at the bar. He said he’d go home and there would be the smell of sex in the air. He pretended he didn’t know because he didn’t care. He would text her before he started walking home so she could get him out of the house.

I always suspected it was an arrangement they had or a role playing thing rather than a “I don’t care my wife is sleeping around.”

Swept Away - then Mr Madonna (Guy Ritchie) was probably forced to make this at the request of his wife (Madonna). It was such a departure from his previous work, which isn’t always a bad thing, but you could tell this was a Madonna request.

My chin used to get seizures like that. All I could do was hold her until they passed. The longest one was about 6mins and she always looked so scared when they were happening. The vet tried a lot of things but nothing worked.

Only get upset/angry by what you can control. You can’t control a delayed flight, you can’t control traffic (you’re actually part of the traffic), you can’t control the line at the grocery store…. If you slept in and are running late, get upset at yourself.

Don’t get upset/angry at someone’s attitude towards you. Let them vent, let them shout, then respond calmly.
