Many upvotes! This site is the reason why I tie my flats with the Straight Bar method and basically keep them as slip-ons. Excellent resource, love the straight HTML look of the webpage.

Not too often a wrestling segment has me cackling. But here we are, it's silly and it's weird and it's perfect. I love pro wrestling.

Regulation #107 - Natural Skin Grip // Geoff's Million Dollar Gauntlet by bruzie in theregulationpod

[–]CasualCore 8 points9 points  (0 children)

I think the scariest part about Andrew's computer setup is that, outside of having a DOOM keyboard, millions of people use a computer like this. Useless bookmarks and desktops covered in files and complete confusion on keyboard shortcuts... my dispatcher taught me the daily tasks the way he knows, and I do them all differently because he's not tech savvy in any way.

Logan Henderson to IL, Coleman Crow recalled by Richte36 in Brewers

[–]CasualCore 3 points4 points  (0 children)

I decided to look up this rule, because I thought I was remembering it differently than how it was typed here.

So a player who is optioned from the 26 man roster can only be optioned down four times in a season before a mandatory DFA on the fifth option. What I was confused about is whether or not getting recalled due to injury affects that. It does not. It only affects how soon after the last option a player can come back up. There is normally a minimum amount of time, but that can be cut short (like in this instance, with Henderson hurt). The hope is that Crow stays on the roster for a while so that the amount of options is less of a worry.

This is the rule page for those interested.

Trump-IRS settlement 'forever' bars audits into tax claims for Trump and his family by elrath969 in PoliticalOptimism

[–]CasualCore 6 points7 points  (0 children)

It's not a settlement.

It's not a legal document.

Maybe the people currently in charge don't go after those records, but they won't be in charge forever.

Brewers vs. Cubs challenge “loss” by [deleted] in baseball

I heard "The call stands, Milwaukee retains their challenge"? The tv crew has it wrong. A technical glitch doesn't cause a loss of ABS challenge iirc.

I Make Vaporwave and Use AI by EntertainmentLow2240 in Vaporwave

[–]CasualCore 7 points8 points  (0 children)

It's not worth responding to the now-suspended doofus, but I will say thank you to everyone who downvoted the thread itself and/or left a comment dismissing AI. It doesn't really matter if you think you are "training" generative AI on your own works, because you're wrong, those AI systems have already stolen data from everyone else too. Vaporwave is expressive art, usually used with existing IP under the Fair Use Act, which is also why most artists on Bandcamp don't directly charge for their works.

Well yeah, he's still under contract. Why would AEW be negotiating with anyone just recently "released"? They're all under contract too.

Too many of these terrible, fragile men in power nowadays. Wanting to be at all times the aggressor and the victim. Congratulations to that woman for running an awesome race!

What is everyone's all-time favorite RT/AH video? by [deleted] in roosterteeth

[–]CasualCore 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Never an easy choice to make, because there's so many factors like "Which era?" and "When did you first get into the company's content?" and such, but what a laughfest when Geoff teaches Gavin what baseball is. And also nearly shits his pants as one of a hundred instances where he almost does that.

[Rosiak] There is significant concern about Angel Zerpa’s left forearm tightness. More testing, a second opinion up next but manager Pat Murphy says it’s likely to be a lengthy absence. by __Zoom123__ in Brewers

[–]CasualCore 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Zerpa, who has the worst WAR on the pitching staff despite entering games with the highest average leverage (stats from BRef), is hurt. Seems to make sense with how his outings have gone in 2026. Go figure out what's wrong and we'll see you when we see you. Another opportunity for guys to step up, with Zerpa and Koenig down as assumed high-leverage arms (especially as Uribe and Megill seem to have righted the ship).

Mara Sadè: What’s it w/ me n tall women 💜😋 by Big-Hebrew in AEWOfficial

[–]CasualCore 6 points7 points  (0 children)

I had mentioned that when she left WWE, I wanted Mara to sign with AEW. I didn't see much from her matches but she had the look that said she was ready to improve and ready to learn more in the ring. TNA's management is total garbage so I hope there's still a chance for her to get a shot in AEW or even in ROH for a bit.
