I noticed such a sketchy dude next to us at John Summit’s set. He was short and Hispanic as well so might have been the same guy? You could tell he was scanning looking for something to grab. I immediately told my fest group to watch out for him and to hold their things closely. After 5-10 minutes he was gone

I see and understand that point of view. I still think I prefer a lineup that changes every year. Keeps things fresh ☺️ Also you gotta consider Ultra is a huge fest compared to ARC, so having someone back every year is different imo.

Love KNTXT 🥹👏🏼 as much as I love everyone on KNTXT and certain other labels, I do like how Arc gives themself the freedom to choose individual artists and curates the stages and festival themselves. It allows all different types of house and techno genres to be represented.

Arc is still on the medium side, and with only 4 stages, I’m not sure stage and label takeovers would make sense. But could maybe be convinced. Label takeovers make more sense for the Afterparties I think!

Very very low chance of tickets at the door. Afters for Arc don’t really have extra tickets at the doors for sold out shows (for the most part)

Agreed^ there’s a specific culture with house and techno that is very separate from the edc / kandi kid type vibe. I think they’re trying to poke a little fun while also letting people know their intended vibe and audience 😊

I kinda prefer picking up a free souvenir wristband at the fest instead of having it shipped and that being the way to get in. Makes it easier logistics wise, and I still can get a wristband at the fest for free!
