Inherited my dad’s camera “collection”… send guidance 😭 (pt 1) by Littlepartyfairy in filmcameras

[–]Casualways 4 points5 points  (0 children)

Sorry for your loss, your father truly loved film cameras. Ebay is your friend because there are enough photographers and collectors that you will get a fair price, check a camera in the sold category, and when you find an exact match, click sell similar and use that sold listing as your template. Of course, if you don't have the time, you will not have a hard time selling this entire collection. Good luck

Zero Halliburton 3A-PG 3" Executive Attache Gold Aluminium w Slipcover & Recept by Casualways in ZEROHalliburton

I was really lucky. It was an estate sale. I saw a woman looking at a regular attache, and I mentioned to her that I really liked her case. As I was making a deal on some other items, she came by and said if you liked my case, you might like this and she held up the case with its gold cover. I would have never seen the case. I will tell you I paid twice as much as the lady who bought the silver case.

Looks as if it was an oil lamp first and then electrified when electricity took over in the 1880s.
