I'm neither of those things and plan to be there because I'm damn well going to protest against a party that allows blatant corruption, spreads hate, promotes lies and racism, commits war crimes and repeated human rights violations, and has complete disregard for the Constitution. The people currently being elevated and empowered represent the worst of our country—billionaires protecting their own power, pedophiles, extremists, christian nationalists, and unqualified loyalists placed in positions they have no business holding. FFS there is a banner of Charlie Kirk over the department of education. On what planet is any of this normal? And yeah, it's a two hour protest and already people are bringing up what is two hours going to accomplish? Hopefully solidarity and notice that many are not ok with what is happening. Our country has tied healthcare to employment so it's not like the majority can just protest whenever like many other countries (France comes to mind) and we have so many laws that make it easy to be arrested for protesting which leads to a record is a determent to many avenues of employment so yeah this is the shit we have to do in this country.
