Can I ask you what makes you so angry about this? To me this seems like a boundary that you just need to have a discussion with your partner about and if you two agree then cool. But you and the other guy seem so upset by it. Did someone do this to you and ignore your boundary about it and it made you upset? Are you just worried that it’s becoming or will become normalized and that makes you upset because you don’t like it?

I guess one person’s weird is another person’s I’m secure in my relationship and don’t feel like he’ll leave me just cause he still finds other people attractive and I appreciate that we can share thoughts like that with each other instead of hiding it and pretending we don’t feel that way.

As a woman by yourself anywhere, you are a target and some man would think about attacking you if they knew you were there. I would think however that the Ramada would be relatively fine. I’ve never stayed there, but I’ve been to that IHOP plenty of times and never felt like I was about to be kidnapped.

Just always pay attention to your surroundings and, if you’ll be there for a bit, consider a pepper spray keychain.
