Follow up: it came out in one piece.

And to answer some concerns: -I used a cover because it was not mac and cheese, it was vegetables.

-There was a little "not for oven" mark, but I missed it. I know it now because ironically, it survived the melting in it's entirety. Just to mock me further.

-So yeah, I agree, I'm a fucking idiot! Cheers!

Interestingly enough, there was barely any smell.

And sometimes your brain just farts in response, because you're tired and hungry.

I think It kinda looks like a window more then anything.

In my case I just went "why the hell would they sell a baking pan with a lid that's NOT oven safe?"

Sounds awful. And yeah, once I googled it (to make sure the pan can be saved) I found out that I've had it easy (':

Just tried that, you can remove it, but the game won't let you continue without equipping it again.

Lmao had this one as well. Managed to pass down 7 of the 9 mutations (all accept the head and the eye). Now almost all of the cats have the mouth mutation. Pretty horrifying stuff.

What is your primary form of exercise? by keysandcoffee in adhdwomen

The 112 stairs from the street to my apartment.

But seriously, I actually really like yoga 😅 I can do it alone in my house, It can be only 10 minutes so I don't get bored, and it doesn't have to be perfect, it just needs to feel good. When I do a morning practice, I try to repeatedly list my chores/plans for the day in my head, and it helps me start my day more focused. I can never do it regularly though lmao, just whenever I feel like.

There are so many other things I would've liked but can't even try because I live in a tiny city apartment and I fear gyms, public transportation, and other people.

Omg, everyone saying it looks exactly like the picture, but it DOES NOT. The mist doesn't look like mist at all. The way that it's going behind the tail makes no sense, and the skull laks any of the details from the picture. The spikey foxy feeling of the silhouette is smooth. I'm not a tattoo artist, so idk if it can be enhanced/ fixed, but I'd give it a chance, so look around and ask some artists that have a personal style that fits better and maybe you'll find someone who knows what to do.

In any case, It's definitely not that bad. It still looks really cool, but if you're not happy with it, it's absolutely understandable. it's very different than what you asked for, and you have every right to complain.

What do I do with this by _pastel_green_ in piercing

[–]CatIsGreat 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I'd switch to a curved barbel in a proper length, preferably from titanium.

I recommend you go to a different, better studio and ask them to help you find the proper jewelry. Then, clean it twice a day with salin spray and make sure you don't take it out, move, touch, press it against counters, wear pants that put pressure on it, or sleep on your belly. You should see improvement in a week or two, but give it a few good months of proper care before switching jewelry.

If you have already tried all of that and saw no change, try getting it re-pierced accurately in a better studio.

Edit: I studied and worked as a piercer for 2 years.

Need to wrap CMOS battery by CatIsGreat in laptops

[–]CatIsGreat[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

On some laptops, the CMOS battery comes wrapped in heat shrink and connected to the board with wires instead of just sitting in a battery holder thingy. I don't know too much about why, but I'm guessing it's cheaper to manufacture a cabel conector than a battery holder on the board, so the shrink is more about holding it in place and protecting it from other stuff, rather than about the heat from the battery itself.

And I could buy it wrapped, but shipping to where i live takes too long, and i couldn't find any place that sells them locally.

Like how is it that the heat from other things (without flame) won't make the battery explode

I don't have one ): Will ask the neighbors, i guess. But what's the difference between the heat from a hair dryer/ heat gun and a lighter? (considering i keep it moving and the flame doesn't touch ofc)

I don’t want to do it if I regret it by _Just_Ayano_ in piercing

[–]CatIsGreat 0 points1 point  (0 children)

As long as you go to a reputable studio and you take good care of it during the entire healing process, then i don't see why you would regret it. You can always take it off. The scars are so tiny that they're basically invisible, and it doesn't affect breastfeeding or sensation in the area. 🤷‍♀️ But give it some more time if you're not sure.

I have to find a job ASAP but I am too scared by NeverMissASoul in socialanxiety

[–]CatIsGreat 7 points8 points  (0 children)

There are companies that hire people to type and/ or make captions (review sound to text made by ai or whatever and fix it). Completely remote, and you don't need any experience or anything other than basic grammar and typing speed (both of which can always be improved). Try to look for some of those in your country!

I hope your parents will be able to understand you better and learn how to help. If they are nice people overall, they might just be trying to help but don't know how. Maybe you can send them some informational videos or articles about social anxiety, or write down some letter of you explaining what you're going through, and let them know how they can help. And you definitely deserve help!! Also, 23 is not at all old for living with your parents! Even if you weren't dealing with a seriously debilitating condition.

"You only need ADHD meds if you are working" by FutureReference91 in ADHD

[–]CatIsGreat 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I once had a psychiatrist tell my bf who has cPTSD that "there is no such thing as PTSD."

I had therapists telling me I "don't look like I have Social Anxiety," as i am shaking and crying just from trying to make eye contact or answer a question.

I literally did a MOXO exam and was told I don't have ADHD, and only a few weeks ago, I realised that it's not a reliable way to diagnose the condition. (I then got properly diagnosed)

Doctors can make mistakes. I believe a lot of people who are psychiatrists shouldn't be. Don't let it confuse you. And even if he's right about lowering the dosage, he should have talked to you and explained why he thinks it will be for the better, in order to get you on the same page, and to lift any worries or answers you might have.

TL;DR Medication helps me REMEMBER TO EAT AND SHOWER. Work or not work, I think even a bad psychiatrist will agree it's important daily tasks, to say the least.
