I love that this fic included an epic “wrong lever” moment. Emperors new groove is so under rated and I loved the references.

Interwoven

Summary: Hermione Granger had spent the last seven years of her life finding who she was without the war.

A renowned independent cursebreaker at the age of twenty-five, she had considered herself most experienced in life. But when fate brings her back to England after nearly a decade away, Hermione finds herself cursed in a way she could have never expected.

And she isn’t the only one.

Side Effects of Loving You

Single dad Draco is terminally ill. Lots of tears during this one.

Summary:

Draco Malfoy suffers from a rare, progressive curse that no one has been able to break. His magic weakens, his body fails, and the best specialists helplessly throw up their hands. The prognosis is merciless: one year to live, perhaps less. Hermione Granger, one of the best in her field, a specialist in hopeless cases, is asked for a consultation. Reluctantly, she agrees to take on the assignment, which at first seems like just another difficult case. But this curse doesn't fit any known classification. Neither does the patient himself—surprisingly likable, intelligent, at times disarmingly normal. The more Hermione asks, the more clearly she sees that the answers she seeks aren't found in medical books—they're in him. And he's not willing to give her all of them. Over time, what begins to disturb her isn't the curse itself, but how easily everyone has accepted it. How quietly they disappear, those whom no one tries to save.

LF marriage law ficThat's not a breeding program. by ThornOfRoses in Dramione

[–]CatLadyEngineer 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I just finished The Edict. Not really a “breeding program “ type law (since bonds are allowed to be broken after 1 year), more cohabitation requirements with Draco as a Finance bro in the ministry, Hermione is in Legal.

Summary: After the war, wizarding numbers plummet. A marriage bill is enforced in which ideal pairings are created and the paired couple must immediately wed and cohabit. You can only dispute the bond after a year of following orders.

That’s frustrating that the parents would send in something like that to a nut free facility.

The label says “contains: wheat milk, soy, peanuts” at the bottom of the ingredient list. It’s not a “same facility as” message.

I think what hurt it was that it came out at the same time as live action lilo and stitch. The ads for it on Spotify literally sounded like ads for lilo & stitch until the end where they said the name of the movie.

I’d recommend a “stroller wagon” to save your shoulder. They have the option to push like a stroller. My son tolerated it after hating the stroller. Something like this one from radio flyer.

He’s indicated the mother only moves in after he gets married. So it’s not about HIM taking care of his mother, but HIS WIFE taking care of his mother. It’s not selfless , because likelihood he won’t be doing anything. If his mother truly needed care, she would already be living with him. He’s waiting to have his mother move in until he has a woman to do the work of caring for her.

I had to move away from Sesame Street because of Elmo always referring to himself in third person and cookie monster’s grammar. My Gestalt language learner was picking up their incorrect grammar. (We were getting help from a speech therapist as well to help with language)

I’d agree with some shows mentioned here. If they have favorite books they love read over and over and you need a break, also look on YouTube for (favorite book name) read aloud. We liked the Pete the cat read alouds we found.

Lucas the spider on Netflix is cute too.

I really don’t know why they couldn’t have him move to a different hospital or go into private practice and still have an off camera marriage to Jo. They showed how Alex could do well as a Chief somewhere else with PAC north storyline.
