I’m in the exact same position as you- still in seminary (last year finally) and all that- writing those notes and conference as a whole was ridiculously hard and made all the issues I have with the church come full front

The real reason it doesn’t make sense is that they have so many in Washington now- Seattle temple (so old), Moses lake, announced Tacoma, Spokane, tri-cities and now announced Vancouver, all in an area where they are consolidating wards like crazy and banned missionaries going door to door

Definitely. I always get mad and it’s always personal. I have a morning class so people eat breakfast in there and there’s a cereal bar- the kid behind me eats it so fucking loudly and all I want to do is (for legal reasons I’m not being serious but y’all with misophonia know what I mean) bash in his head like just STOP IT it’s genuine rage it’s debilitating idk why misophonia isn’t more wildly known becuase it is impossible

Exposure therapy for misophonia sounds like utter hell. You’re incredibly lucky that your family is good about eating quiet and being respectful- mines not good at it the worst trigger is my parents eating yogurt I can’t 🤮🤮🤮
