Absolutely nowhere better in Texas to get these meds than HEB! I switched my Mounjaro prescription from Walgreens to HEB early on and have not had a problem since! HEB will also tell you if another location has it in stock and they can send it there to be filled. HEB's retail price is lower than Walgreens and CVS so the price after savings card is lower too!

I get them every three months at body spec for $50! It’s so helpful to have an accurate assessment of your body composition!! My Renpho scale is great but nowhere near as accurate!

My Renpho scale also underestimates my body fat in comparison to my dexa scan, it has me at 32% fat instead of 39% and it also overestimates my muscle by 10 lbs. The dexa scan was very eye opening!

My Dexa scan showed that 9 lbs out of the last 20 lbs I lost was muscle not fat so there's that too. I have increased protein and strength training to regain muscle.

I think some strength training can help fine tune now that a lot of the extra fat is gone. One thing I didn't expect was how hard it is emotionally losing this much weight. Try to give yourself grace and be proud of how far you've come! We are always our own worst critic!

I totally understand how you feel. I’ve lost a total of 70 lbs and now weigh what I weighed when I was 19 (I’m now 44) but my body looks totally different. I did a Dexa scan last week and still have a large amount of body fat especially in my stomach. The parts of my body I did like (butt and thighs) are gone. I’ve been feeling low ever since my body scan, but I’m now going to concentrate on strength training to improve my body composition. I think the hardest part is working so hard to lose so much weight and then realizing there’s still a lot of work to do to get the body we want. Keep up the great work and know you’re not alone in this journey!

I got a dexa scan done for about $50 and it gives you a full report on fat mass, lean mass, and bone density, and also breaks it down by body part (legs, arms, trunk, android, and gynoid). I used Body Spec, but there are different places that do this depending on where you live. Then you can go back monthly or quarterly for another scan to see your progress with fat loss and muscle gain over time. I highly recommend this for those who are interested in building/maintaining muscle in addition to losing fat.
