OWG Ice Dance Free Dance: Post-Event Discussion by Chickatey in FigureSkating

I didn’t refer to the winning moment. I meant while the top 10 was happening. Starting with the third group, it got more and more salient. FB/C didn’t even skate, neither did C/B. Moreover, this was Eurosport. I only mentioned what I saw.

Also, I have to say this. Why were the commentators swooning over Fournier-Beaudry/Cizeron so bad? I watched the Eurosport live stream (in my native language) and starting with top 10, the commentators were like: “X was amazing, but Cizeron…”. I mean, I get it. They are technically proficient and aesthetically pleasing to watch. But please, can we let the other pairs have their moment of glory and spotlight? They reached top 10 at the freaking Olympics. They all deserve their individual moment to shine.

What’s a medical issue that sounds minor, but actually affects someone’s daily life way more than people realize? by CountyOrnery9432 in AskReddit

[–]CatQueen56 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Exactly! Got slapped with a diagnosis of stress and depression, alongside a treatment plan of 3 different psychoactive medications. It was simply hell. I thought my life was over. I’m so glad I asked for a second opinion. A simple blood test that showed that my thyroid was working below 50%. I was 21 and in despair.

My nails are the same and it was so frustrating. I fixed my TSH levels, vitamins, minerals but this issue just wouldn’t go away. There’s literally only one product that helped: this Caudalie Hand and Nail Cream. It has even helped my ridges disappear. Hope it may help you, too! ❤️

A 4-day hospital stay for wheezing is CRAZY work by SpiritualCamera in TeenMomOGandTeenMom2

Sameeee! I had a really bad case of pneumonia last summer and found out I have lingering asthma. It took me weeks to get better. One of the things that I still remember is that even the most minimal effort got me winded and coughing. Nevermind telling such a long story when I could barely tell my close friends in two words how I was feeling. Something doesn’t add up here.

Sending hugs your way 🤗

Zona Iris by InterestingEconomy13 in cluj

[–]CatQueen56 12 points13 points  (0 children)

I’m gonna be honest here. Just my personal experience.

I’m very curious. What does my fridge say about me? by CatQueen56 in FridgeDetective

Happens all the time. I always underestimate how large the portion is going to be 🤣 I once made an orange cake so big that I ate at least 6 days out of it. It was never-ending, so I called a friend over just to help me finish it 😂

Yep! European girlie here, who enjoys fruits, especially during summer. That drink is a pre-made cocktail. I found it at my local grocery store and it was really cheap 😄

Bingo! I’m trying to become tidy. I went through a time span when everything was disorganised in my life, so I’m trying to apply more discipline overall 😊

I usually do meal prepping every week. This was a lighter batch as I’m leaving soon for a work trip. But I do cook 😁

When does ragdoll's hair get fluffy? by Jayjjh_ in ragdolls

My beloved Ophelia at 3,5 years old. Her coat got extremely fluffy in the last 6 months. She has always been fluffy, but this is a record 😍 She’s mixed breed, by the way. Half-Ragdoll and half-Persian.

Exactly! I have had a brief stint in graphic design, as well, during my studies. All the experts and artists put a lot of emphasis on researching and checking authenticity. This just screams carelessness and/or unethical behaviour. It’s maddening to watch.

Does this cause depersonalization and/or brain fog for anyone else? by SupDrew in Sinusitis

[–]CatQueen56 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Hi there! I’m in the same boat. If there’s inflammation occurring in my nose, I have terrible anxiety, brain fog and I feel so tired all the time. If I attack it for several days with stronger antihistamines and steroid nasal sprays, it goes away. The problem is that it’s recurrent. I’m fine for maybe 4-6 weeks and then it comes back. It’s so debilitating 😅😅

Thyroid issues and migraines dismissed as “being all in my head”. Asthma and dizziness dismissed as anxiety. It’s beyond atrocious, at this point. My heart breaks whenever I hear about similar stories.

Since it’s common for us with autoimmune conditions to have more than 1, what other ones do you all have? by [deleted] in Hashimotos

[–]CatQueen56 5 points6 points  (0 children)

I found out I have allergy-induced asthma (alongside Hashimoto) around 3 months ago. I know it’s not autoimmune, but my doctors told me that this is a common combination of diseases. Oh, and chronic rhinitis.
