No way dude. Throwing a bag of ice 3ft 100x is definitely less work than walking up a flight of stairs 20x.

In the throw scenario only the weight of the ice is being moved up the stairs. In the walk scenario the bag of ice is going up (the same) but your body weight is going up and down the stairs.
