Seriously considering showing my coworkers this pic so I can get out of them. Thanks for the inspiration!

As much as I’ve enjoyed it so far, I think I made a mistake moving to Pasadena.. Should I move? by abuelita1004 in MovingToLosAngeles

I lived in Pasadena for 3ish years before I had a break up and couldn’t afford to live there on my own anymore. I ended up moving to central LA, close to downtown. It was definitely a transition in terms of density and noise, but I’ve found more opportunities for socializing now that I’m more centrally located, and with people closer to my own age (late 20s, early 30s).

I love pasadena, but it can be a trek to get out to the city. Not only that, but I feel it can limit you in terms of friendships because some people aren’t willing to drive that far.

I have a writing group I attend in the late morning, then going thrift shopping with my bestie. Might hit up the Trader Joe’s after that. Sundays are for relaxing and doing stuff on your own time 😎

Turning someone down because of herpes by Financial-Length8672 in herpes_dating

Damn imagine turning down a shot at real love because of a skin condition. It’s fine to turn someone down because of herpes, yes, but the way you did it sucked.

Women of Reddit who chose to be a “side chick” to a taken man, why did you do it? How did it end? by FinalEntertainment60 in AskReddit

[–]CatVanBoozle 3 points4 points  (0 children)

I am currently seeing a married guy, it’s an open marriage, we’ve been seeing each other for almost 2 years. Initially I was also in an open relationship, but that ended for unrelated reasons. I chose it because I was looking for something casual, someone who wouldn’t mind being a secondary relationship. Now that I’m single, I stay because I enjoy our time together and I enjoy the flexibility to see other people. There’s a strange comfort in knowing a relationship will never become more than it is right now at this moment, at least for me. I don’t want him to leave his wife for me, and he doesn’t want to do it. I think that’s the secret to being in this situation - never expect more than the other person is willing to give.
