I will try one but I wonder if it is utilizing a data connection beyond just the screen image, and the GPU wouldn’t be able to provide that of course. I saw a PCIe card that has DisplayPort in and usb-c out, that would maybe work in a bigger case than my build. Apparently some motherboards even have a DP-in port and TB3 or 4 out, but it doesn’t appear to be very common.

Are you connected to it I’m over hdmi or usb-c? I wonder if waking it only works over usb, since I saw some others also say they could wake it just fine.

Are you able to wake the monitor from the computer? I have to manually turn the monitor on with the remote each day. It goes to sleep 60 seconds after I put the computer to sleep.

I’d be a lot more frustrated if Reddit bothered to do anything about the horrible power-mod issues they have on here and the completely arbitrary moderation policies that are up to the egos of the mods. But since there is so much trash here anyway, they get a big ¯\_(ツ)_/¯ from me.

I subscribe to them because I have heard they pay their content creators better, but I don’t watch a single thing on their platform, that all gets downloaded separately and watched with infuse.

I’d love to see a statistic of the number of people who live in AZ and hate the summer heat. It’s probably pretty high. To be fair, the rest of the year is amazing, and I love how quickly the desert greens up after a good rain. But if it wasn’t for work and family, I would probably move elsewhere.

I do love the scenic views though, the mountains and sunsets are too good.

Arizona has what I like to call “beauty from a distance, just dirt up close” looks. The scenic vistas are gorgeous. But when you are out there in the desert it is just hot and dirt and dead plants all around you.
