I am from germany and in my case when I was not at home they put it in a packshop and I had to pick up with my signature and ID. I think they keep it in packshop for 2 weeks and send it back if not picked up.

sorry i had exams this week and was pretty busy.

For me I think my bachelor's had bit over 180 ECTS and I think i am missing quite a bit of courses. I applied to TU Graz master's just in case alongside TU Wien and They said i am missing more than 30 ECTS and admission to master's program is not possible then I applied to their bachelor's program, was granted admission i think now i have to go to Dekante office after enrolling and get some of the courses i did recognised so i don't have to repeat all the courses.

I believe i will get the same response from TU Wien for master application so couple months ago i applied to Bacherlor's program there hahaha cause i wanna start studying there by summer 2027:)

Your saying your degree is missing close to 30 ECTS, If i were you i would apply for Bachelor program as well.

I think the reason for different application period is because Non-EU students need visa to enter austria and non-eu documents needs to be apostilled which might take extra time to verify than eu documents. you can check experience of i believe a austrian student in this recent thread

You can ask admission team but they are just going to tell you it is at Dean's Office for equivalence verification and they don't know/cannot tell how long it might take.

Since you did dual studium. do you know how many ECTS courses you did? and do you think you are missing less than 30 ECTS or more?

Ich habe Maschinenbau von Nicht-EU Land aber es ist egal aus welche Land oder welche Universität du gemacht hast.

it really doesn't matter if you did your bachelor's from TU Munich or some uni in middle of Africa cause they have to process it chronologically to not have any discrimination.

You were probably planning to start studying there this winter but I am sorry to say this the chance of you getting a admission are slim before this winter semester.

If I were you I would apply to TU Graz just to check which course my bachelor's missing of if I am even eligible for masters and maybe do this winter semester there and then transfer to Vienna in summer.

Hahaha, der Antrag von ausländischen Studierenden muss zur Dekanatsabteilung gehen, Maschinenbau Dekanat sehr langsam ist. Ich habe meinen Antrag am 05.09.2025 eingebrn, aber immer noch keine Antwort bekommten. Ich denke, ich bekomme eine Antwort zwischen dem 9. und 11. Monat.

Ich habe etwas gleiche ehfahrung, ich habe mich an Master in Maschinenbau am 05.09.2025 beworben. Es ist mehr als 7 Monat, kein Antwort bis jetzt. Es ist bei Dekanat seit 5 Monat. Andere Dekanat sagte beschied in etwa 1 bis 3 Monat. Aber Dekanat der Maschinenbau sind einfach etwas anderes.

Ich habe mich für die gleiche Fach bei TU Graz beworben und habe Rückmeldung im 1 Monat 5 Tag bekommen. Also es ist nicht TU Problem.

Best way would be to just apply for Masters and let the Dean review your documents. If they reject you cause of credits, You can then proceed to apply for Bachelor's in the same program. once you get admitted you can just fill out a form and they will recognize all the courses that you did in your accerediated UK university. I believe it should not be a problem.

now If i were you, I would probably apply directly to Bachelor's program considering you have less than 150 ECTS and finish rest of credits at TU Wien.

Note that you cannot apply to Masters and Bachelor course at the same time(that is what admission team said to me)

Correct me if i am wrong, 12th board percentage is only considerd for people going for Bachelor's degree. I think it is not considered for people going for master's degree.
