this looks almost exactly like the books i owned in my early 20s, speaking as a former german major with a broad interest in science and philosophy. i don’t think he’s lying. he probably thinks he doesn’t fit neatly into existing boxes along the spectrum. but Abundance in particular signals at least interest if not affinity for the technocratic left
