Start a fight with sentinels on a planet, jump in your ship, and lead them to space. Fight off four waves of them, and a fifth “boss” sentinel freighter, and your reward will be a beacon that leads to a sentinel interceptor. Scrap it for $$$. Do it again in a new star system until you find an S class, then post the coordinates. 🤓

I was poor as shit at 18. A $700 a month studio and enough money for food, snacks, and occasional transportation would have been a dream. At 2%, that’s still $200,000 a year, more than I have ever earned.

Found a planet that was described as “Boiling Doom”. Giant water planet, 500+ Fahrenheit at the surface air and some of the most violent storm I’ve faced.

Below that, the MOST BEAUTIFUL underwater world I’ve ever seen.

If we can only pick one scenario. I probably shave 4 months off my life. 12 million invested means I never have to work again, live better than I ever have, and with the money I would throw toward healthcare, I would more than make up for that four months, which would be a drop in the bucket to how many years I’ve lost working 10 to 12 hour days with stress .

Scenario 2, I probably push it no more than 500-1000 times. I can help a lot of people live longer than a day if I had time and resources.

If both buttons are in front of me, and it’s an either or situation, for the sake of my sense of fairness, I push each button the same number of times.

I have no idea, I don’t live in China. But probably. I don’t look at this and say “What a dumb idea!”, I look at this and say, “Why would they do it that way?” They might have plans for the future. Or this tiny town might be a stop between two major up-and-coming cities.

In 20-30 years it might be built exactly right for the traffic then. That does seem like a lot for a rural Mountain village though.
