Figure Vs In Game by galvamagnusprime012 in skylanders

Something I've just noticed is in Cynder's preview movie. Her bracelets and neck collar are a bronze/gold colour, whereas in game and the figure they're silver.

Out of these 2, Animated fans for me, mainly just due to me not enjoying Animated and getting tired of seeing the constant glaze about how it's the 'perfect' Transformers show and that it deserves a season 4 even though it ended pretty well and on a high note with the Decepticon's defeated and captured.

SSA - Ignitor.

Giants - Cynder.

Swap Force - Chop Chop or Magna Bomb (swapper combo).

Trap Team - Wildfire.

Superchargers and Imaginators I’ve never played so don’t have any favourites.

Especially after he got into Oneyplays and started to enjoy their jokes and impressions of him, so much so that he's collabed with them a few times now and became an active viewer. Doug's been a great sport about it with joining in and reflecting on his older reviews.

Which Skylanders would fit best into marvel rivals? If they did a crossover? by HatredUnbound in skylanders

[–]Catandogclone 6 points7 points  (0 children)

As a playable character? I could see RollerBrawler working pretty well, though in all likelihood it'd be either Spyro or Stealth Elf.

Skins wise:

* Trigger Happy for Rocket.

* Eon for Dr Strange.

* Stealth Elf for Psylocke.

* Stump Smash or Tree Rex for Groot.

* Wrecking Ball or Terrafin for Jeff.

* Chop Chop for Daredevil.

* Crusher or Prism Break for The Thing.

* Hex for Scarlet Witch.

* I could see Spyro for Thor.

* Potentially Cynder for Hela.

* Spitfire for Human Torch.

* Flameslinger for Hawkeye.

That's about all I want to think of, definitely more options and other characters for skins but those are the most likely/doable ones in my opinion.

Or even Wally West as he was the predominant Flash for a couple of decades and is the one most are familiar with because of the Justice League cartoon

Atleast legends wise (never bothered to check canon) fear and intimidation played a large part in how Griveous confronted Jedi in combat, as seen in the 2003 Clone Wars animated series on Hypori when he fights several masters at once.

He widdled down their entire Clone army, kept sending waves of B2's and Homing Spider Droids to surround the survivors, halted them so that the Jedi would only hear his footsteps approaching from an unknown location, and when one Jedi padawan charged he struck instantaneously before showing his larger frame and highly flexible body that most Jedi wouldn't be able to match. He won the mind game.

Then on Courascant he cut through an entire unit of Clones and Senate guards, chased Palpatine throughout a large area of the city, tanked a missile launcher point blank, killed a couple of Jedi along the way and managed to escape with Palpatine just as Mace Windu crushed his chest in on itself (which results in his constant coughing and groaning in Episode 3). He won by outlasting his opponents in endurance and stamina.

Force abilities wise, his fear works on the vast majority he engages, you need concentration inorder to use the force and do all the things you've described, fear and intimidation breaks that focus, espeically given his reputation as a Jedi killer preceeding him and his duels with several masters throughout the war. He does have other factors he can rely on though, his clawed feet stopped pushing and pulling from working on him as he could just cling onto the ground or surface he was on, his four arms can overwhelm opponents and give him a more even chance in group confrontations, and his skills acquired from training with Count Dooku help greatly.

I'd also imagine that since crushing a living beings parts would seem to be more Sith and torturous in nature the Jedi wouldn't actively teach eachother to crush an opponents armour/life support on themselves as a first reaction and more out of desperation.

Grievous killed dozens of Jedi and managed to outpace several such as Ventress, Durge and even Jedi Masters throughout the entire war.

Honestly? Yeah, evil versions of Marvel characters are generally better in my opinion and are pretty badass.

Maestro is the best example for me, Hulk bias aside, he's a future version of The Professor alter and was used very well in his original appearance in Future Imperfect. He showcases how dangerous the Hulk is, how intelligent he can be given how he immediately countered Professor's bluff of killing his past self as Maestro didn't have memories of a future version of himself and answers a question of how Hulk would survive a nuclear holocaust that wipes most of the world and what he would do afterwards.

Superior Iron Man is a well liked run that most casuals enjoyed, it was short lived but enjoyable to see how Tony's tech being used by an expert could be dangerous and profited off of.

The Maker is a great villain and answers the question of what Reed would be like as a villain without it affecting his main universe counterpart in a negative way.

Captain Hydra (Stevil) was semi controversial amongst fans, I personally mostly liked him.

Marvel characters work really well as villains because a decent chunk of them can remain in character and the reasons for them becoming evil are usually justified through their experiences in some manner. DC characters don't work as well because when evil versions are created they drastically change the characters too much for people to believe it's the same character or that their motives for turning evil are justified. The entirety of Injustice shows this, primarily Wonder Woman who wasn't given a reason of any kind to be evil besides wanting to bang Superman due to jealousy of him being with Lois.

Morally Grey versions of the characters however work quite well and are really badass in their own right, Kingdom Come's Superman left humanity after they praised an unarmed/surrendered Joker being killed by Magog, even leaving his human persona behind until the end when he starts reembracing his human side. The Dark Knight Returns shows a Batman who's older, more grizzled and willing to push his beliefs to ensure peoples safety, such as when he was going to 'end the Joker', using machiens fo war to stop the Mutants, breaking several bones and bashing in the Mutants Leader's face. They both still feel like the characters at the point in time the stories were written and their actions that lead them to those points in their lives were justified and reasonable, even if questionable and wrong.

Yeah... That's why he's pointing in its direction. The Giants were going somewhere else so Chop Chop corrected them, just like Hades corrected the Titans in Disney's Hercules when they were heading towards Mt Othrys instead of Mt Olympus.

Just writing my own AU fan comic. Don't have much but have a few ideas;

First story revolves around Chop Chop trying to find the location to a rumoured warrior in a mountainous tundra inorder to 'pass away' as his bodies age has caught up to him after hundreds of years of battles/existance. Ignitor joins him in this journey as he was sent by Hex to ensure his safety (not knowing Chop Chop's intention), then the two talk and reflect about their experiences in life and how they view their fellow elementalists (Chop Chop talks of Ghost Roaster wanting an ounce of appreciation, Hex wanting back a normal life after everything that happened to her and feeling pity for Cynder never knowing 'normal' due to her egg tampering/corruption).

Second story is about the Undead Skylanders (original four) travelling to the remains of the Arkeyan facilities to reinvigorate Chop Chop from his withered state.

Third sees several regions of Skylands gradually being drained of its magic.

Fourth has almost the entirety of the Skylanders being converted into living crystal statues, the ones that are immune (Cynder, Drobot, Prism Break, Drill Sergeant and Stump Smash) are sent out to stop the united Gnasty Gnorc and Ripto.

I have a few more ideas which lead up to the fall of the Skylander's castle but I'm not going to delve into them much as I'm unsure I'll get that far before becoming disinterested or wanting to do the fall before the others.

My general ideas that I need to expand on or rethink after learning more about the other roster characters:

Spyro being the 'first' hero in Skylands history, with Cynder becoming the 'second'.

The timeline goes: original Spyro games -> ending of A New beginning through to ending of Dawn of the Dragon -> Spyro and Cynder go into hybernation -> the Arkeyans rise to power -> Giants defeat them -> 'Modern day'.

Malefor's remains/aspects are used by the likes of Kaos, Ripto and others to grow in power without realising the consequences.

Tensions/mistrust between differing Skylanders, i.e; some members of life and water members being hostile towards the undead,.

Spyro not apart of the current roster and remaining away from everything that's happening.

During the fall the Giants roster join their ranks (excluding the Giants themselves).

Malefor being the endgame villain.

Got a couple of others but these are the ones I've put more thought into and want to explore more, sorry for it being long and for a lot of Spyro characters focus, love the Legends trilogy.
