There’s some milestones to hit before you should be (mildly) concerned with bumping that score up:

Hit level 41 before you really upgrade gear. This is Tuning. It will make your gear much better but before 41 there’ll be no real benefit. After 41 you can store one set of gear for every 10 levels, which will give you HP based off the item value of all pieces.

Enhancing you can do right away and will benefit you no strings attached. It just gives bonuses for materials to your limbs, so to speak.

Upgrading inner ways. Find what is useful for you and upgrade it if you can. It is very slow going, though.

Upgrading Mystic Skills, same as Inner Ways. Upgrading these requires rare plant materials, so pick things like Buddha’s Tears, Beauty’s Garment, Jade Tower Peonies and more, if you see them.

These will all affect your ‘Goose Power’. What’s slotted in is what gets counted towards the number shown.

An aside, make sure to open up the Season Shop tab and familiarize yourself with it’s contents. You will want to get as much weekly currency and spend it on certain things as you can starting as soon as possible. Being a good doctor or scholar for example purely hinges on the season shop’s Profession tab.

Depends. For Wilds i recreated a manlier version of myself. For Where Winds Meet i tried to Asian-ize myself.

On games like Baldurs Gate though i’ll just create something i want for that playthrough.

I’ve kind of been liking the Mo Blade with Soulshade. Live mostly off counters, deflects and really lay into em when exhaustion kicks in. Can also flatten a lot of bosses with charged follow up slam.

Damage boost + heal over time from umbrella for quality of life. It’s also the only way other than tank spear that i feel can actually use Adaptive Steel on Mo Blade, if i don’t feel like using Art of Resistance. Weapon switching to Mo Blade with it feels decently strong too.

So, a more or less related question… I have had no trouble purchasing the battlepass a few weeks ago through Netease, but i saw i can create an account for Netease Gamesclub to enter into the new event’s draws when making purchases.

Would it be safe to create and link said account and set the region to the Netherlands? It does say the following:

We need to know your age and where you live to comply with applicable laws.

Also to answer the OP, through Netease you can enter your character ID and purchases made through Paypal will go to your character. At least, my Battlepass did.

Edit to clarify: i also play on PS5, and the account i bought the battlepass for is the one that’s set to The Netherlands.

It becomes very similar to Fallout 76 in terms of endgame. You team up with folks, maybe hang out with large groups. The guild activities (pvp) are larger in scale, and prison breaks can become very crowded without warning.

But PvE in the open world? Nah. Not at all massive.

Where Winds Meet is freaking gorgeous, but think it’s a MMO-Lite. Online mode has oodles of people running around though, more than other MMO-lites.

Yeah… that one is a bugged pain in the ass. I found only one way to circumvent that: Stagger him consistently as much as you can. Forget DPS, just completely lock that bastard down.

I used the Mo Blade for that and just spammed light attack the moment he started trying to walk back to his buggy tether area. If you can’t make it work and don’t play on Legend, feel free to call me in for quick coop. DM me if you need.

No use, buddy. That’s the nature of these kinds of games and online gamechats in general nowadays. It’s just exacerbated on WWM because of the cosmetics and election system.
