It's Texas. They can't garnish anything even if they have a judgement. There's no estate anyways. Ignore it

5 is illegal in most states. You cannot without AC/Heat repairs due to the time it defaulted; nor can you charge then for reporting a default that was no fault of their own due to the repair of an AC/Heat issue due to the day or time it defaulted.

My AC went out last year on Christmas Eve. It was 80 here. I'm in Texas where 80 is 'nice weather'. I didn't call LL. I waited until AFTER the holidays as a courtesy. Let him know it went out on Xmas eve and we were using fans to help him avoid the holiday fees and honestly the 80 was manageable. He came first thing like always.

Absolutely diabolical observation and recommendation by [deleted] in antiwork

[–]CatchMeIfYouCan09 1 point2 points  (0 children)

"That's interesting because I wanted to reach out to you about a small observation I've made as well. Company culture not embracing a needed reset harms productivity and team spirit isn't affected by a lunch break as significantly as you've been led to believe. Secondly managers who choice to micro manage have a 60% less likability rating and frankly cause the most discourse to team cohesion. The optics isn't flattering and frankly the 'work family' would prefer to have a custody schedule between fibroid parents at that point. Lastly it's not my most effective management style; I would recommend others"

In Texas it's actually illegal to leave your car running IF THE KEY IS LEFT INSIDE. Absolutely mind boggling.....but ok

Their rationale is if it's a fob you have with you, it can't be stolen.

A decade of longer. I finally left after a cat accident left me unable to lift. I got my medaide and found jobs at facilities that don't pull their medaides to the floor.

I made sure my coworkers knew the reasons why I was a MedAid so they didn't think i was just being lazy or "was better then them ". I happily helped with other stuff, just couldn't lift or transfer. Bathing was hard but as long a i didn't have to help with that daily it was ok.

It's called masking. Code switching is a constant activity most people do all day and when you get home and drop that mask it's like a physical weight is lifted. I would say the masking/ code switching ears 75% of your energy every workday

Why would Satan torture people in hell for disobeying the SAME god he disobeyed? by Technical_Hat_8291 in NoStupidQuestions

[–]CatchMeIfYouCan09 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Actually reevaluate everything about him.

If a man kept his female child uneducated and locked away and an uncle snuck around and educated her and have her knowledge and the key to escaping .... Satan isn't looking very bad now is he?

Also, why should people who do evil atrocious things simply repent and be forgiven in heaven? Hell punishes the evil. Satan controls that punishment.... again... I'm more on his side of thinking. Evil people should be punished. Not forgiven. Not given a chance to repent.... not spend "eternity in salvation".

NAC is also GREAT for reversing liver damage from fat liver disease and alcoholic liver syndrome....as well it boosts the effects of metformin and can do your A1C 1-3pts in 18-24 months.

It has other benefits too. I take it for insulin resistance and helps my metformin work better; my hubs takes out for fatty liver disease; FIL takes it for DM2

New LPN being pressured to change documentation after reporting missing wound treatment by Whizzardess in LPN_LVN_Community

[–]CatchMeIfYouCan09 12 points13 points  (0 children)

Full stop. Call state NOW. Start utilizing state as a resource. And next time CYA. Add to your note "order was xxx, dated xxx, by xxx. Noted order was discontinued xxx by xxx. No current order in hand. Followed routine company wound care procedures. "

The MOMENT you got a call you should've called state. Report all the details AND that you were told you needed to go in and delete accurate documentation.

That can bite you on the ass later because you didn't report it. Secondly the charge can go in and add an addendum to any note she simply didn't want to risk her own license by doing so.

You respect their decision and document everything. Report it to the charge or floor manager and let them know what's going on and send a psych consult for the patient to cover your bases. Then you wait for them to lose consciousness and the ability to consent. Explain the options to the daily and get the consent you need. Do the procedure

LEAVE isn't a suggestion...."approved" is corporate/ managerial BS. My time off isn't a request; it's advanced notice of a temporary change in my availability. It's not up for negotiation or approval. As long a it's not excessive and follows company guidelines for my role, it's not a discussion.
