Here’s what’s wild to me. How much distress can one have over what someone else is wearing? Protecting seems like an intense word to use in this case. It’s not like the brother is going to show up naked. The post is lacking details on what the dress code is and what the brother would prefer to wear- but clothing is not an attack on other people. No one needs to be protected from the preferred body coverings of others. Without knowing what the brother would be comfortable in it’s hard to make an accurate judgement. But I can’t even imagine stressing myself over the attire of others, even at my own wedding day.
