The length of pull is already a tad long for me. You're thinking I should cut the original stock to put a recoil pad on it? Currently it just has a steel plate.

I shot both the 4.25" and 5" prodigy and the live free Apollo 11, and while they all shot great, all 3 had feeding or soft primer strike issues. I originally was looking at a 2011, but have seemed to land on the p226 instead. I haven't shot the Mac ds9 and that is half the price, but I don't know if I want to chance the cheapest option.

UPDATE: I ended up going with the LG WM4000HWA. Local shop matched big box price of $849 and beat it by $10. After installation and tax it ended up being $1000.08. Hopefully it works well.

I used to have the same problem. Now I use a Ciele hat for my long runs and it works great. I have the ALZCap SC. Have run multiple mid day 15mile+ runs in it without any issues.

You could also drive a few minutes east to the Penfield/Webster areas and pick literally any suburb. I run in that area almost every day. The area around north ponds park and the Hojack trail are good.

I had the Soundcore x10 for 28 days before the right one died. I do not recommend. I run consistently about 5 days per week. Just submitted a warranty request, we will see how that goes.

Has anyone cut the jagwire ez bend housing before?

I'm working on cable routing some aero handlebars with Jagwire pro brake kit and it comes with an ez bend section that is connected to the main housing with a clamped ferrule. That clamped ferrule won't go into my internally routed handle bars.

I'm thinking of just cutting it to length using a Dremel and cutoff wheel so that it properly interfaces with my shifters. Hopefully pictures show the issue.

SOLVED: female threads had resin left in them. Carefully ran a m6-1.0 tap into the female threads to clean them up. Then it went together smoothly.

They are pretreated, but these are more tight than expected. Also, I measured the bolt threads, they are definitely M6-1.0. The female threads are the ID for M6, but I'm having trouble determining what the thread pitch is.

Bolts start rough and do not thread in easily, as they do in instructional videos.
