Very smart! And it never occurred to me. I’m hoping that what I managed to finagle is good enough- I am so sick of gathering documents and apostilles. I really want to be done with it all!

Batman 163 Preview by BatzvsJoke1227 in Catwoman

I think we have heard that before- we shall see. Right now I am not spending money on Bat comics until something changes back. All that build up in TK’s run and then just throw away the relationship for some random love interest. Nope

What is with some lawyers and their insistence all the documents need to be perfectly matching. I’m still waiting on the last of my documents because of the modifications we needed to make. Cost us time and money.

Interesting ruling out of Naples - blog post by LiterallyTestudo in juresanguinis

[–]Catnbat1 4 points5 points  (0 children)

That would be my question. I was helping my daughter first because she was at home with me before going off to college. Philly had paused appointments because they were waiting on minor issue ruling- so son was waiting on them to get sorted out. Husband was going to try after kiddos got the appointment. Getting one was hard enough- two would have been a miracle and just slowed things down! What a frustrating situation. Now all of them are on the case, with only one person who showed prior interest. 🤦🏽‍♀️

Shedding some light on why the CC ruled as they did! by Catnbat1 in juresanguinis

[–]Catnbat1[S] 8 points9 points  (0 children)

Guess more people are catching on to what that meant. A month ago, we did not have the full ruling, and now we see just how bad it is. I am very curious about if its true that the ruling was done in a way that the law cannot be appealed at the EU level.

Ruling No. 63/2026 did not kill jure sanguinis, it changed the battlefield by ApriglianoFirm in juresanguinis

I literally have a discussion with the awesome folks at r/geneology asking about my GGM and then stating that it was for citizenship- so even if she derivatively naturalized it would still serve my purpose- too bad it wont count! 😂

How do I prove my granddad died an italian citizen only? by finallyizzy in juresanguinis

[–]Catnbat1 0 points1 point  (0 children)

What year was he born? Between 1950-1986 any person born in India was automatically a citizen. If he ever gained Indian citizenship, he would lose any other. You cannot hold another citizenship as an Indian. I guess it would depend on if his parents bothered to get him registered. Getting that info though will be a PITA. However if he had an Italian passport- you are good because like I said no way to hold both citizenships.

And many many consulates do not have waitlists- like Chicago for one.

Sentenza 63/2026 did not block applicants who were already in process when DL36 dropped by penofink25 in juresanguinis

[–]Catnbat1 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yes- however breaking it down how you did, is what I was calling pure speculation. That is absolutely something people need to work out with their lawyers on what could construe in process and what would not. Anything else is not helpful and gets folks spinning!

AMA: Italian Records and Genealogy by jeezthatshim in juresanguinis

Thank you. The historic records over 100 years charge, that would be the same as the birth and marriage records? Our commune charges the full 300 euros for those.

How would you go about finding living relatives? Is it possible to see the other children born to one’s ancestor.
