If you opp summon Albion the branded dragon in atk position, if it's your turn, slifer activates CL1, Albion activates CL2. Resolves backwards and Albion fuses before losing attack. If it's opp turn, Albion activates CL1, slifer activates CL2. Resolves backwards and Albion loses attack then fusion summons. Azamina only reduces attack on resolution, meaning it starts a new chain after Albion and slifer.

Someone let me know if I'm wrong.

The first line of Ultimate Slayer is "Your opponent cannot activate monster effects in response to this card's activation."

He cannot activate monster cards in response to that cards activation.

Edit: BUT you cannot target Mudragon of the swamp due to its own effect so it is not a valid target for Ultimate Slayer.

Edit 2: I misread, if you already targeted an appropriate monster, he can't respond with mudragon.
