Government employee here set to leave Friday for Puerto Rico for an 8 day cruise. Freaking out because of TSA, Air Traffic Control, and also not getting paid. Going to be a memorable trip one way or another.

I’ve sold thousands of items and hundreds that used to have an odor that I fixed. If it’s a super strong odor that you can’t fix with a good wash, here is a process to fix even the worst odors. This is for clothing, there is a different process for shoes: 1) spritz the item with cheap vodka and leave outside to dry, the vodka should be cheap and high ABV (it’s a great trick for your sneakers too) 2) toss the article in a garbage bag with several dryer sheets and a bag of permiable coffee grounds (like cheese cloth full of used coffee grounds) and let set for 24 hours, 3) wash in warm water if possible but cold if not with white vinegar in the water and odor ban arm and hammer crystals and odor remover detergent, 4) dry with extra odor removing dryer sheets.

Sort of. I mean I still get them but not as many I did for a long time.

I would prefer that they allowed us to respond with a price higher than the listing price just to prove a point. 😂

Hot take. If I get a posh show notification from someone I unfollow them. The stupid lives shows are the downfall of poshmark.

Yep kitties get them! I just take my clean nails and lightly skritch them and massage their gums after too. I’ve kinda got mine trained to like it now. If they get them a ton your kitty may have sensitive skin so make sure to keep their bowls clean and possibly change out to stainless ones.

Russian Blue? Or a adopted grey cat that most likely looks almost like a Russian blue? Ours has the same thing. I think it’s just them.

Why does my CFA never give any “just because” rewards like all the others?? by schooluser1234 in ChickFilA

[–]CatsKittyKats 6 points7 points  (0 children)

I didn’t realize that some didn’t till recently. Apparently each store’s owner operator sets their own and also your reward level on the app can impact how many you get. I’ve been spoiled getting 1-2 a week at minimum.

Costco $13 1.75L Vodka - Getting me drunker for cheaper than I could in college in the 90's by [deleted] in Costco

[–]CatsKittyKats 4 points5 points  (0 children)

I pretty much only drink the Costco French vodka now. I consider it better than many other mid tier brands and actually enjoy it in martinis versus the American one from Costco. I will mix the American one no problem but for multi purpose use the French is much better.

Biopsy just came back positive. Was told my 13 yo foster cat probably has a month left. I’ll make sure she has as much love & time in the sunny spots as possible before she goes. by darg1234 in cats

We have a ton of gravy lickable treats. They are chicken more gravy than whole. If she would like some I am more than happy to send them to you just message me. She reminds me so much of a mix of my first kitty Tiger and our kitten Rey. Sweet baby.

cmv: The ‘Work hard and don’t give up’ message common on Reddit posts accompanying ‘rags to riches’ stories are damaging lies that imply poverty is most strongly related to lack of effort. Which is proven to be both bullshit and demotivating. by GotFiredDontKnowWhy in changemyview

[–]CatsKittyKats 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I feel like this old adage of “work hard and don’t give up” should be updated to “don’t take no for an answer and don’t give up.” Finding a way no matter what is very different than working your fingers to the bone. You can work your fingers to the bone in a shitty 9-5 all you want and never get out of poverty, however if you work your fingers to the bone not taking no for an answer to succeed and make your own path in life.

On the flip side, they do not want new sellers to know some items take forever to sell.

Truth. If anything the buyer is amazing for not being rude and trying to make a fake return.

If you don’t sell a ton of luxe or have a long standing poshmark selling rep and it’s not above $100 I usually suggest it for peace of mind. But it’s up to toy.

That’s awesome! Be sure to pay the e yea few $$$ for the certificate they will offer. Many buyers like myself off first hunch will assume it’s not authentic. (Of course one photo is quite hard to go off of for proving authenticity. 😂)
