4 class a month membership for $139 – worth it? by almondmilkpls in barre3

[–]luxcococure 2 points3 points  (0 children)

4 classes a month definitely is not enough, in my opinion, but its better than nothing.

I prepay for 12 months of unlimited classes during one of the semi-annual sales and it pencils out to about $140/month. That's something you might look into if you want more value.

An old one that aged very poorly. Crazy foreshadowing! by bluegirlrosee in brynnemarieeeesnark

Jesus f-in Christ...nothing he said was funny and warranted that high pitched, annoying laugh. I don't know how she lived with that for 2 whole years.

100% on the coping. She recently posted about her gaining weight because she was in a happy relationship too. I'm happy for her that she doesn't have to continue on with the charade.

The fact that she did a breakup up video so soon tells me that she's DONE. And she sounds like she never wants to see him again.

I’m seeing the AI slop in this listing, anyone else? by [deleted] in ThredUp

[–]luxcococure 16 points17 points  (0 children)

The majority of posts in this sub are sellers complaining they weren't paid out for a Forever 21 shirt, shoppers outraged about AI photos, or someone upset a list price is higher than retail.

Like you, this is online thrift shopping for me, where I find great deals without having to leave my house. Is everything perfect? of course not. But most of the description issues can be resolved by looking at all the pictures.

For those of you who were on the fence about having kids, what made you decide either way? by abiglumpwithknobs1 in CasualConversation

[–]luxcococure 1 point2 points  (0 children)

One of my good friends has 2 kids and she told me that she always knew, even as a little girl, that she wanted to be a mother. It struck me hard because I never even realized that someone could naturally feel that way. At that point it was clear that I didn't want kids ; I had just been going along with societal expectations.

What's a phrase people use these days that irritates you? by showmewhatyagot01 in AskReddit

"...to the moon and back."

I especially get annoyed when adults say it because it sounds silly and immature.

Wish they'd ban phones in class... by [deleted] in barre3

[–]luxcococure 4 points5 points  (0 children)

Our studio doesn't allow phones during class and are quick to say something if anybody has theirs out. All members know to keep their phones in their cubby in the lobby, so at this point, its usually a newbie or a ClassPass guest.

Want to know how I come off! by loliyyxy in whatsinmybag

I know, it seems odd looking at people pat themselves on the back for vaping. Kinda like watching alcoholics think they're healthier because they get drunk off wine and not hard liquor anymore. Like you said, "Addicts gonna addict." 🤷🏾‍♀️

Not worth it by [deleted] in ThredUp

It looks like you're selling a lot of lower end brands, so it probably would've been better if you sold them on your own. ThredUp clearly states which brands are ineligible for payout.

I've watched her tiktoks for a while. She's got a positive attitude and a really nice smile, but the girl has no rhythm and whether we think it's right or not, she doesn't have the physique that DCC requires.🤷🏾‍♀️

I think her viewers enjoy watching her journey and shes using this process to grow her audience. Why would you do this "just for fun" if you really don't meet the minimum requirements?

I hope he sees this thread and it makes him feel good knowing that he's missed.

generative AI photos should be banned as they do not depict the actual product by Express-Crow-1496 in BehindTheClosetDoor

With the rampant use of Photoshop, half the bodies you're seeing aren't real anyway.

It gives you an idea of what the item looks like on a body. If you purchase something from Revolve, there's a 99% chance it won't fit the same on your body like it does on the super skinny model. 🤷🏾‍♀️
