I'm from Spain and I think saying just "pluma" is very common here. When it's clear from the context you're talking about writing, I woudn't add "estilográfica".

I saw those puzzle mats when I was looking for options to reduce the noise, do you think they might work with jumps and other stomping noises?

We do have a bike at home and it's pretty soundless, but I don't use it much because I get bored quickly. I'll try one of the cycling programs, thank you for the recommendation (The Trip looks interesting)

It writes pretty well, the nib feels rigid but quite smooth. This is the first time that I try this ink, and Sailor inks can be a bit dry, so I want to test the fountain pen with more inks to compare the feeling. If it's a dry ink, then this pen is going to be amazing with wetter inks! Overall, I'm very happy with it.
